Virgil always seemed to slip from her grasp, however, his inhuman power giving him a decisive advantage in straight fights. What she lacked in raw power, however, she more than made up for in cunning and ingenuity. Time had a way of making fools of us all, though, and the two had been battling a long time. "Happy 10th anniversary, love," Virgil's voice echoed through the industrial warehouse, shut down for the night for anyone but one who could simply tear the door off its hinges. He'd taken refuge here in an effort to elude her and gain an advantage in the spacious area filled with hiding spots. He so enjoyed playing cat and mouse, though he preferred when he was the cat.
