Ms. Marvel looked over to where he had chosen to sit, then to the empty chair in front of her. "I wanted to?" She felt hurt he'd ask her that. "You think I didn't want to see someone else besides a hero? You're the first fan to actually ask for one and mean it, and it wasn't just for a bunch of selfies and the 'I went on a date with Ms. Marvel' fame and notoriety." She stopped and peered right at him... Almost through him. "It wasn't, right?" She rubbed her face with both hands. "Sorry. You got beat up because I said yes... And I definitely wasn't expecting that. Maybe I'm tired of being shipped with everyone. Spidey Marvel, Inhuman Girlfriends, Coffee and Green Tea, Stretching Eyebeams." She sighed, lowering her head. "And those are just the ones on my team..." she shook it. "Maybe I thought I could just be normal except for the costume for a few hours. Have a normal fun date. Looks like I still owe you the date part. This is like a couple of normal teens having a visit."
