While most of these plots list a canon character I'd like to see paired with mine, I'm fairly flexible in that area. If you prefer to play an oc, or someone else who would fit the bill, that's totally fine with me. 1. Sex Sells It is no secret that the newspaper industry isn't doing so well. Every day, it seems more and more subscriptions are being cancelled. With numbers falling, the industry has been forced to accept a universal truth, that sex sells. It started off simple enough. The paper's top reporter (I'm thinking Lois Lane, but if you prefer an original character, that works too) spending an evening at a club for dominants and submissives. The normally assertive reporter is cast in the submissive position, while the paper's newest writer, Clark Kent, is at the club as her dominant. She spends the evening submitting in public, then writes about it for the paper. The results of the experiment speak for themselves. That single issue of the paper sees sales spike 25%. Marketing can't help but think that future stories would have an even greater response, especially if there were pictures. So the experiment grows more elaborate. Before long, she is writing about having to submit to her partner at work, going through rigging sessions where they practice binding her, and photo shoots. She balks at each new assignment, but part of her thrills at the loss of control. She's been assertive all her life. The act of surrendering is...exciting. I'd like to see this develop into a secret full time master/slave relationship. Their peers think they are doing it for the story, but both of them absolutely love the sensation of dominance and submission. They even start to take chances with it. I was thinking Clark might go undercover at a sex slave ring, and Lois (or whoever) could get too wrapped up in that, finding herself up for auction before Clark has to save her. Obviously, this would have a little bit of a superhero theme to it, but it an be as much or as little of a presence as my partner wants. If we include it, I'd like to focus it mostly on sexy rescue situations, where Lois is abducted during other stories, or by fans who want to see what it is like to dominate the woman from the articles, only for Superman to save the day and collar her himself. 2. Breaking the Story Probably the biggest thing I would love to do is a story that revolves around a particularly dangerous investigation. Basically, your character would be someone like a reporter or a police officer who is convinced that the most powerful businessman in the city is responsible for the majority of the organized crime in Metropolis. Absolutely nobody believes her, and her superiors think it is such a waste of time that they've ordered her to back off and stick to something that can be proven. Her instincts won't quite allow her to let go, however, and she keeps digging, drawing the ire of some very powerful people. Effectively, what I'd really like to do here is a story that is equal parts romance and superhero peril. I'd love to come up with a way your character ends up partnering in her investigation with Clark Kent, and the two find that romantic sparks fly between them. Whenever she gets really close to something, some of the worst people in the city come to target her, abduct her, and put her in a unsurvivable situation. The only thing that gets her out alive is the last minute intervention of my character, either as Clark, or as Superman. There are a lot of variables here, and a lot of room for customization. Maybe this is the first time they've met, or maybe she grew up in the same small town Clark did, but the time was never right for their romance until now. Maybe she's oblivious to her boyfriend's alter ego, or maybe she sees right through him and figures it out at once. There are a lot of elements we can explore when it comes to peril too. If Superman's enemies figure out he comes running whenever she's put into danger, they might target her outside of her investigation. They both might even come to enjoy the little back and forth, as it becomes a game to them. In the back of her mind, she knows nothing bad will ever really happen to her, so it becomes exciting to be rescued, as Clark is always particularly excited after a close call. 3. Cap's Shield For this one, I'd really like to do a pairing of Captain America and his SHIELD handler. Someone has to see that he is adjusting to life in the 21st century, accompany him on missions, and help with the elements of this new world that he hasn't adjusted to yet. SHIELD is worried that Steve has no connection to this new world, so they picked someone with a personality profile that matches his, someone they hope will be able to make a connection with him. As it happens, the plan works perfectly. The two become fast friends, and then become something more. I'm really looking for a mix of romance and action here. Cap's enemies are legion, and if they discover he has a lover, things will get rather complex for both of them. 4. Basic Romance No plot to this one. If you are craving a romantic plot with some superhero subthemes, I am the partner for you. As you might guess from the list of ideas, Superman is my go to. I'm happy to pair him with new reporters, police officers, friends from Smallville, a rich heiress, or anything you can think of. In addition to Clark, there are a handful of other characters I'm happy to play if the pairing is right. Steve Rogers, Peter Parker, Oliver Queen, Barry Allen, and probably a few more that I'm not thinking of. Feel free to pitch me ideas!
