In a time of Anicent gods, heros had become scare, a dying breed. War and death plagued the land, a feud between the mighty gods hades and Ares. Only time would tell which side would win.Because what is war and death without the other.?
    Morrigan
Red hair blew in the wind as her blade pierced the heart of her enemy. A sharp cry sounded from her victim as the enemy warrior fell dead on the battle field, another soul on its way to hades. Her silver helmet reflected the sun shining from above, the god of war had blessed this battle as she fought by her father’s side. Blood of mortal men stained the ground of Greece as the two Kings armies fought over an ancient blood feud that was as old as time itself.
Pulling the blade from the Roman warriors chest, a loud battle cry sounded from Morrigan as she spun around, Black cape swirling in the wind as her blade kissed the flesh of another warrior. Her armor was black and silver, spiked black boots buried themselves in the chest of another solider as she tore through the Romans while the Greeks began to take advantage and gained the upper hand. Morrigan danced with grace across the bloody field, the crimson liquid spattered across her armor and angel like face. The brown eyed goddess chuckled licking mortal blood from her purple colored lips as she returned to her fsther’s Side, her mortal general Gallous flanking her as they sent soul after soul down to hades. The Greece sun was hot as Gallus ran to join the god and goddess cutting down anyone in his path who would dare do harm to the ones he worshipped. Morrigan was beautiful her father’s killing machine and Favorite child. The goddess of war herself always faught. beside her father. She sent a beam of dark red power at a group of romans laughing as they fell dead, drained of all life. Morrigan loved being a goddess and wouldn’t change it for all of Olympus. Finally the battle was ending, the enemy soldiers quickly retreating as the Greeks lead by the gods sent them on the run. Morrigan laughed evilly the sound echoing through the battle field as the enemy retreated in fear. The god of war had called for this battle and they had won.

The Greek general called to his army for one final charge, leading his forces in an overwhelming chase to corner and dispatch what remained of the Roman ranks that had dared oppose his patron God Ares, and his Goddess Morrigan. Within moments the recharged Greeks overtook and mowed down the exhausted and demoralized Romans who easily fell at the end of their spears and blades. One final soldier remained, trampled on the ground as a broken, bloodied and battered man. Gallous stopped beside his enemy and knelt down, pulling the older man's helmet from his head and dropping it to the ground below. "You are fortunate that Ares saw fit to spare you this day," Gallous said with a smile before looking over his shoulder at Ares and Morrigan off in the distance looking over the bloody results of their war. "Your mission to repay this blessing, is to return to your home and warn your people of everything you have seen and survived. Ares does not often grant second chances, and Morrigan fewer still. I pray you convince your lord to end this war before there are none left to fight it." Gallous helped the fallen man back to his feet, took his weapon and returned the man's helmet to him. "Go with my blessing before Ares changes his mind." When the soldier began limping away, Gallous turned back to Ares and Morrigan and approached them falling to his knees in supplication before his Gods. "Great and just Ares, and cunning Morrigan, our enemies have perished under the might of your will and but a single survivor has gone to share a warning with any who dare oppose you. It has been, and will always be my honor to serve you both and continue garnishing victories in your names."

As the Greeks began to gather bodies and throw them into funeral pyres, the God of the Underworld himself looked over the blood soaked soil and marveled at the carnage he beheld. He rolled his eyes when beholding Ares standing there so proud of his work, the God of War always getting off on the heat of battle whether he were in the midst of the blood shed or just sitting on the sidelines sipping ambrosia under the shade of a tree. At his side like a loyal lioness stood his daughter, Morrigan. His dead heart skipped a beat while taking in her beauty, and his respect for her battle prowess grew that much stronger. Regardless of his personal feelings on Ares, Hades had always been impressed by his nephew's handiwork on the battlefield however as Morrigan had come up and eventually broke free from her father's shadow Hades began to long for her in a way that seemed all but impossible. Thousands of souls were awaiting their chance to cross the River Styxx after having met their end this day, many of them having fallen in combat while others still breathing their last as the Greeks huddled all bodies together regardless of health. The highest count though still belonged to Morrigan herself, since taking the reigns from Ares on her own the Goddess had already doubled the rate in which new souls were entering Hades' realm for eternal torment, a feat not so easily accomplished especially by a single immortal. Hades stroked his chin as the dead organ within his chest began to beat once again, and the lord of the Underworld decided to finally approach Ares and ask his nephew for the chance to court Morrigan and convince her to provide him an heir to one day take over the Underworld for him, just as she was doing for Ares.

Another battle won by the gods of war and the Roman solider was left to return to his commanding officer to tell them what he had witnessed today because the gods were stronger then ever before and nothing was going to stop them.“Why do we deal with mortals father they are nothing compared to us the gods of Olympus.”She said Mortals could be cruel, yet so could the gods and the lives of mortals barely mattered to Morrigan as they slaughtered each other. Her general Gallous was the mortal who earned her favor timr and time again and it was him she would give a child a demi god like Hercules who would be a great hero. Morrigan has been around since time began she was no stranger to the ways of love after all she was the daughter of the god of war and the goddess of love. But was to much like her father, eager to jump into battle and take up arms, even if she was as beautiful as her mother, Morrigan did not share her mother’s loving trait at least it had yet to show itself. Morrigan prided herself on being her father’s favorite child. She worked her way up to what seemed like an eternity to get here and there was no stoping her. Someday Morrigan would take his place and she was more then ready now but had to wait. Because there was a lot of things to still be leaned by Ares and that included to keep the mortals in line. “You have done well Gallous, you are and always will be worthy of our blessings and support.”She said Morrigan had guided Gallous and trained him to profection in the halls of her temple high above on the cliffs of Greece. To her he was her creation. He would make Avery useful father for the child she planned to give him. A Demi god child of war. “My father and I are pleased with you Gallous, we both know that you will never fail and will be worthy of being blessed with becoming the father of my child.”She said. Morrigan hadn’t had any of her own children yet and she had many lovers but this mortal was worthy of her and handsome. Her father agreed that Gallous was the one who would be the father of his grandchild. “Mm I can hear the cries of souls on their way to hades now and yet there are still many battles to fight.” “We made progress today and it fills me with joy to see my prized general once again claim a victory and we have many more victories ahead.”

"I will answer your question with one of my own, daughter. What gives a god their power? Those that believe. If the mortals lose all belief in us, we are no better off than they are and easily crushed by any fool in a dark alley. We deal with them to maintain our power, and because they add just enough chaos and entertainment to an otherwise boring existence," Ares answered Morrigan, putting a hand onto her shoulder as a proud father. She had learned so much in the ways of war. Her tact and battle prowess was just as good as his was, perhaps better even, when he had first hit his prime. However, one of the more important lessons she needed to learn was more humble than strategy or combat. Yes the humans slaughtered each other, and how they slaughtered each other always coming up with brand new methods and weapons to prolong the pain yet make the kills more clean and surgical. She was far too much like him, and that was part of the reason he favored Morrigan so heavily over her siblings, however he did wish she would take on some of her mother's traits to ensure she didn't become a despised goddess before he turned over his role to her. But the attention she had given General Gallous over the years had not gone unnoticed and when he had learned of her desires to bless the mortal with a demi-god child Ares thought that perhaps her views on mortals would one day change. The the general in question knelt before them Ares smirked and listened to the mortal shower them with praise, at least she had chosen one who knew his place.

Gallous stared at Morrigan in both shock and awe as she revealed her plans to provide him with an heir. The general had heard many tales of such events happening, such as the mighty Hercules, however never in his wildest dreams had he ever considered the chance that such a thing would ever happen to him. The goddess must have known that he and his wife had been wanting to have children and failed thus far to conceive. "Thank you Goddess, I do not know how to even begin to thank you or repay you. I feel unworthy of such an honor," Gallous responded, the look of utter joy and confusion still struggled for control of his face. "Yes Gallous, you have proven yourself worthy... for now... of such a blessing, but I warn you that it can be taken away at a moment's notice should that ever change," Ares warned while stroking his goatee. The mortal nodded at the words of his god and swallowed hard. "Of course Ares, I shall not fail you then. If I may, I would like to have my men begin readying for the march back home." Gallous bowed his head and waited for Ares to wave him off casually before jogging back to his lieutenants to start getting the men in line for the trip back home. "That daughter is why we deal with mortals. They can praise, they can surprise and they can even fuck when desired," he smiled wickedly wondering just what his new grandchild would be like.

Hades fumed while watching the sickening scene of the mortal kissing Ares' boots, and the thought of Morrigan laying with a mortal instead of him filled him with a rage that made his blood boil and threatened to set his hair ablaze. Over his dead body would she give that pitiful mortal an heir before she could provide one for him. The god of the underworld growled and started forward, his feet cracking the ground as he passed but before he reached Ares and Morrigan, the god of war waved his hand and the pair of them returned to Olympus.

“Your words have truth to them but I do not share all the same views, giving him a child benefits the gods I’m not doing it because I care,”she said thankfully Gallous wasn’t in range to hear them before he approached and bowed. Sadly her heart was cold, Morrigan was to much like Ares, she had her mother’s beauty but battle had became her life ages ago. This would be the first mortal Morrigan was to lay with and produce a child but the thought of giving Gallous and his wife a child didn’t mean anything to Morrigan it was nothing but a job to her. She didn’t get along with her mother Aphrodite or even her other siblings. She wanted nothing to do with the child once it was born, it would belong to Gallous and his wife leaving her to go on waging war and sending souls to hades. Morrigan didn’t care much for children and her father was right, maybe she did need some of her mother’s traits,”you are worthy, now return home and tell your wife the good news, you will be blessed with a child by laying with me and together the both of you will raise that child and this child will be special just never fail us.”She said and as they dismissed Gallous to return to the soldiers, Morrigan couldn’t wait to return home to Olympus and take a nice relaxing bath, she had her own corner of Olympus and often visted the many temples the mortals had built in her Honor. Morrigan sighed watching the men march home as she stood beside her father silently.”I understand why we need mortals but I don’t have to like them like Hercules does, giving my general this child is nothing to me.”She said as they vanished from earth and appeared in the white shining walls of Olympus. Morrigan would go to Gallous within the next couple nights and lay with him, it would be a son, the fates fortold of a Demi godd child born from war. Morrigan looked around seemed the halls were empty for now but the other gods were around here someplace. “We sent a lot of souls to hades today and the next time it will be even more father my blade is ready for the next battle,”

When the father and daughter returned to Olympus Ares gave out a hearty laugh and turned his head to smile over at Morrigan. At least she admitted to seeing something in his words, though in the end the message may still have been lost on her for now. He saw so much of himself in his daughter, certainly the strength of her pride and just how much it would become an obstacle for her in the future, just as it was with him even with Aphrodite doing her damnedest to try and change that about him. If an eternity before today had not forced him to change, would another make any difference? He shook his head as she declared her continued dislike of mortals, to which Ares could only shrug. "My brother does have his faults, but he does see the worth of having a few mortals on your side. He may only be half a god, but he sure has enough followers behind him to make him strong enough to rival even your dear old dad," Ares smirked. "But, how you feel is how you feel. I wouldn't go around smiting too many though, it has a tendency of costing you as much power as it gives you in the end. Just slow down, there is always a next battle and another war to be fought but you don't need to back up the gates to the underworld single handed. Go and calm those ferocious fighting tendencies of yours until it's time to remind those pesky Roman's whose pantheon is on top." Ares waved Morrigan off and hooked his hands into his belt before walking off to who knew where, leaving Morrigan to do as she pleased.

Not long after Ares left his daughter, he encountered Aphrodite as she left Hephaestus' forge, a satisfied smile upon her face. When she saw Ares approaching her grin broadened, but her hands immediately fell to her hips before she fixed an angry, yet playful expression adorning her features. "How was the war? I assume you won, as nearly always," she sighed cocking her hip to the side. "You know we could have easily ended their feud by forcing both of their first born to love each other and marry. Weddings always settle butt hurt and pissy moods," the Goddess of Love acted coy. Even though Love was her forte, she still enjoyed seeing Ares return to Olympus covered in blood and sweat, ready for a bath, some ambrosia and wicked sex that lasted days on end. "You doubted me?" Ares asked, puffing out his lip in mock disappointment. "My armies crushed their enemies, drove them from the field of battle to the gates of the underworld, but there were no women present to lament... at least not true women." He flashed Aphrodite a smile, she just shook her head but laughed at the same time. "And our daughter?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest now. "The same as always, a beast on the battlefield and a purist on high. She still refuses to use humans, though at last she has found one she favors enough to provide a son to," Ares answered. "But already she's ready to hand the child over and let the mortals raise him. She still has too much to learn from your side of the business, I've taught her everything I know." Aphrodite sighed. "That can't have taken too long... but I'll have a talk with her even though I fear she is just as stubborn as you are." Ares laughed and nodded emphatically. "Good luck Babe, but for me it's ambrosia time." Aphrodite narrowed her eyes at Ares and growled, turning back to go and find Morrigan who was no doubt finding her way to the hot springs as she always did after a long, hard fought battle.

Some time later Aphrodite arrived at the hot springs, shedding her clothes at the door and stepping inside. She never worried with towels when here, there was no way to catch chill or for the water to harm her and she so loved getting all the attention that her flawless nude form drew. Inside she found Morrigan keeping to herself as always, and once inside the spring Aphrodite made her way wading through the boiling water toward her daughter. The blonde goddess took a seat nearby and propped her head on her arm. "Is there anything special you would like to share with Mommy?" she said in a sweet tone, waiting to hear what Morrigan was willing to share on her own before Aphrodite would unleash her angry side for more information.

“I live for battle, there is nothing else to life then driving my sword into someone’s chest cavity.” She said.
“I’m not going to go around smiting mortals for no reason as long as I have Gallous I don’t nedd others he is more useful then any of them and his child will be of great service to us.”She said
The young goddess in all her Eternity has never found love, she had taken many gods to bed and enjoyed nights of pleasure but no love had come from it or even children. It was known she favored Gallous her mortal but he was happily married to his wife Rena but there was a deep respect the goddess had for him. Giving him a child was her way of thanking him for many years of loyal service.
“Until next time father,”and with that they parted ways. This was going to be boring while waiting for the next war. “We will always be on top mortals can live without our help.”
Morrigan sat in one of the hot spring pools alone, the other gods and goddesses knew Morrigan preferred being alone. The young goddess of war was one to fear. Her armor was sitting on the floor, a towel beside sitting on the floor for when she got out and dried off. After the bath, She would return to her own domain and wait till the next battle started. They would drive the Romans from this land once and for all soon enough. Morrigan knew her parents were concerned for her and at times they didn’t see eye to eye. She began washing her lovely body with Ambrosia soap while the other gods and goddess around the springs sneak a peek. Many had tried courting Morrigan, either Ares scared them away or Morrigan made them cry. Could her own mother change that? If she did Aphrodite had her work cut out of her, because even the goddess of love didn’t know this daughter to well but as for the others she knew quite well. As Aphrodite approached Morrigan in the pool, she stayed silent And glared ar the others who were staring and she chuckled as they turned away leaving mother and daughter to talk. Hearing the question Morrigan shook her head, “Nope, nothing to share as always.” “ what do you want Mother ?she asked and waved her hand her hair magically tightening into a bun as she finished with the soap.

"Oh really, nothing to share?" Aphrodite asked, tilting her head to the side and giving her daughter a knowing glance. Ares had already filled her in about the plan to provide Gallous with a child, which the goddess was happy to hear about. However, hearing that her daughter was going to care nothing for the child and just give it away without blessing or aide was just unforgivable. Morrigan truly was the child of Ares, but the lack of a heart about her own future children deeply concerned Aphrodite. She refused to think that a being born from her own flesh and blood would be so cruel, and tried to probe one last time before letting her displeasure be known. "What have you to say of the rumors floating around Olympus, about your future plans with a certain Greek general and an heir?" she asked, her voice innocent sounding even though she and Morrigan both knew that Aphrodite was anything but innocent in anything. "I think a demi-god grandchild would be a welcome change around this dull place," Aphrodite gestured toward the other gods and goddesses still trying to spy on them. The Goddess of Love batted her eyes at them with a smile, then suddenly the corners of her mouth dropped into a scowl and all love was suddenly lost from her eyes in a sight that sent many looking in the other direction almost immediately. "It would certainly give the others something to talk about, and maybe they could keep it in their togas for one more day at least. Since your uncle grew up and started out on his own it's been rather dull. But you must tell me, what kind of gifts do you plan to give your child? Cunning? Strength? Intelligence to rival even the greatest strategist? Surely you already have something in mind?" Aphrodite slid in closer to her daughter. "And remember, once the child is born it is a lifelong commitment. Just as Zeus still aides Hercules, especially against that bitch Hera. So too will you need to help your child against his or her enemies on the battlefield." Aphrodite placed a hand on her daughter's knee under the water and squeezed gently awaiting her daughter's answers.

“Nope, and you know the small talk thing between us Never works I know why you are here because Father must have already talked to you.”She had been this way even as a child, They had given her everything and yet Morrigan was cold. Since she could walk it had been battle and fighting on her mind. In all honestly Morrigan hadn’t given in much thought, it was more her father’s idea then hers to give Gallous a child. “The rumors are true I’m giving Gallous a child, he is very dear to me and him and his wife deserve a child.”she said Morrigan did have a heart but Secretly the goddess Had a crush on the mortal who could never truly be hers. Gallous was an remarkable man and giving him a child was that closest she was ever going to get. “Well, I haven’t given this to much thought simply because this was more father’s idea then mine but Intelligence of course a mind that will rival any Strategist in history and strength to put match Hercules himself.”She said maybe Morrigan would bless the child with all three she wasn’t completely heartless of course she had to bless the child but Morrigan didn’t really want to be apart of its life, the goddess didn’t want children but her mother was right, it was a responsibility “I guess your right I do have a responsibility to the child.”she said and Morrigan didn’t like being wrong but if this child was going to be a hero then it would need all the help it could get. In her brown eyes, there was a slight red glow just like the blood of her enemies. Morrigan realky has to think this over before laying with Gallous it would only be for a night and hopefully that would be enough to state her desires for the mortal man, no one knew her crush on him and Morrigan hoped it wasn’t obvious.”I will watch over it I never said I wouldn’t, but it will know Gallous and Rena as it’s parents.” “I’m doing this to reward Gallous, I don’t wishsny children after this one, let everyone talk I don’t care.”She said feeling her mother’s touch on her knee, she roughly jerked it away. One way it another her mother always got that truth out of her and it annoyed Morrigan, she did have a heart it just hadn’t been used in centuries. Many were eager to win her favor, mortals and gods alike. But yet Morrigan kept herself in soilitude. “I Wonder when the next battle will start.”her mind going right back to work.It was like she had a one track mind. “Is that all you can’t to speak with me about”? “Your daughter has a heart after all.”

"You are my daughter, of course you have a heart. But to everyone else, it would seem that heart is covered in dust and cobwebs, yet to be discovered." Aphrodite said with a wicked smile and a wink at her daughter. She leaned back in the hot spring and lifted her foot out of the water, wiggling her toes slightly as she leaned her head back and allowed her long golden locks of hair to fall into the warm pool. A pleased moan escaped the goddess while she rolled her head around her shoulders to loosen up some of the muscles therein. "You've told me enough about your intentions, and I can already see that our talk has opened up new questions for you to consider in the mean time before you grace this mortal with your intimate attention, and a blessed child. Just remember, we may be gods but that doesn't mean we create life just for the sake of doing it. This child will require a lot of attention both from its mortal parents and you to grow into the hero you desire. " She lowered her body fully into the hot spring, vanishing from view for a moment before resurfacing beside Morrigan and leaning back against the side of the spring. "Ask me anything, if you aren't sure what to do. And for Olympus' sake, do not ask Zeus... he would drone on for all time about his many exploits and how he even managed to impregnate some poor woman as just a ray of sunshine..." Aphrodite cringed at the thought. She wasn't against a good sexual tryst, there wasn't a man or god around that she wouldn't take for a spin when she so desired, but the pursuit of pleasure was more than just spreading your divine seed around whatever trough was around to swallow it up. "I will have to check in on the dear one myself from time to time, grace him or her with our beauty and physique as well." She winked at her daughter again, less as a mother and more like a sorority sister trying to play nice with a side of kink. The goddess rubbed her arms and flat stomach slowly in the water, full enjoying the rejuvenating properties of the springs. "Yes Morrigan, that was the majority of my reason for talking with you. Now that we've cleared the air, I look forward to seeing what your first demi-god will be like," Aphrodite's body started go glow a golden sheen as she said that, her joy at the prospect of a grand child from Morrigan already filling her with too much pleasure to contain on her own.

“Mother I’ve had sex before I don’t need any tips it’s really simple and I can go back to waging war.”“On Second thought, I can just heal his wife so they can get pregnant and I can still give their child a blessing.”with that she vanished from the bath and appeared in her tight shining black and red battle armor. The goddess never wore anything else in public, she was always so intimidating to others and that’s how she liked it. “I don’t care what the others think, I will bless their child and watch over it without it being born from my body.” Why hadn’t she thought about it before to heal his wife and bless the child with a power or ability. Morrigan wasn’t surprised the other gods and goddess saw her that way, without a heart. She had turned out exactly like Ares, but now Morrigan was having second thoughts about having a child with Gallous. She could heal them and bless the child and with her help itnepuld turn out to be an amazing warrior. “I don’t seek advice from any of you but father and look in on the child all you want.” She said Dressed in her battle gear, Morrigan stalked out of the bath house her boots making haunting sounds as she vanished and appeared on earth in Gallous’s house to see her general and his wife this would be the kindest thing she would ever do because of the respect she had for this mortal if only he loved her but their was great lovr between the mortal couple. A love that Morrigan had never felt herself. Meanwhile the other gods and goddess were talking about Morrigan after she left, they agreed she needed to be hit with Cupid’s arrow or help from the goddess of love herself. Morrigan looked around the mortals house silently and was thinking over her mother’s words carefully. There was no turning back now to resend the offer would be unthinkable.

Aphrodite laughed as Morrigan declared she was only taking advice from her father. "Seek advice from whoever, or whereever you wish Morrigan," she shrugged and waved playfully after her daughter while Morrigan stalked out of the hot springs, it looked as though she were suddenly a goddess on a mission and nothing was going to stand in her way. Once her daughter was out of sight, the Goddess of Love spread her legs underwater and started to play, causing the hot springs to boil all around her as many other gods and goddesses started to appear from every direction. Aphrodite shook her head and waved a finger as if calling them all naughty, but never stopped what she was doing...

On Earth Gallous and his wife Rena sat in their bed chambers, she on their bed and he pacing the room slightly while trying to find his words. While the offer presented to him from Ares and Morrigan both was beyond belief, the more he thought it over the guiltier he was starting to feel about it. He and Rena both desired a child, a son he could raise to one day become the head of a city state or a daughter to one day challenge even the greatest among them, but he didn't desire it more than the love of his wife. Morrigan was a goddess, and quite beautiful, but he could not imagine himself enjoying her body or sensual touch for long without thinking of Rena or regretting his part in the creation of their child. "Rena there is something I must tell you," Gallous said, glancing over at his wife who laid silently watching her husband's peculiar behavior. "I suspected as much, you have worn a circular path into our floor from all your idle pacing," Rena laughed. "Please, just get to your message before I have to climb out of bed and pull you out of the hole you're digging." She smiled warmly, and Gallous could only smile back at her, love in his eyes as he knew what he must do. "Yes, but there is something I should do first... I need to go to the temple and pray to Morrigan and Ares. I won't be long," Gallous said, quickly throwing on his traveling robes and leaving for the temple.

Rena stared after her husband, watching him leave their home since neither one of them suspected that a personal visit from Morrigan was at hand. By the time the goddess appeared in their humble home, Gallous had already left and was on his way to the temple and Rena was wandering about their home wondering just what it was that Gallous had wanted to tell her. "What could he possibly want to tell me that is that important?" Rena asked, taking a seat just before Morrigan's arrival. The sudden appearance of the goddess startled her, leaving the mortal woman staring at the dark beauty with wide shock filled eyes.

“You have a nice quint home here, all it needs is a child.”Earth was indeed peaceful when war was wasn’t raging but it was to much peacefulness the longer no trouble happened. There had to be chaos to balance it all out. Morrigan must have looked rather intimidating dressed in her full armor, helmet and all. Silently she slipped off her helmet setting it on the table infront of her. “I didn’t mean to startle you Rena, wife of Gallous.”She said while pulling out her gloves, setting them beside the helmet. Morrigan didn’t see Gallous anywhere he must be out at the moment. “Where is Gallous”? I must speak with you both about the offer my father and I gave your husband I’m altering the deal a little, I’m
Going to give you a child.”
She said Morrigan was horrible at girl talk but she could fix the problem with the young couple she was a goddess after all she just had to heal them of one of them. “I know you both want a child and are having trouble conceiving I can fix that and give you a son who will be a hero.”She said where in the hell was Gallous, Morrigan wanted him to do here and there was just no way she could have him lay with her and not his wife. This was Morrigan being kind to these mortals who were loyal to the gods. As much as Morrigan had a crush on Gallous it wasn’t meant to be she could feel the love in this house and Morrigan didn’t have the right to take it away.”Is that still your desire to have a child”?she asked watching Rena carefully waiting to hear the answer she would bless this child with great ability and power. “I want to bless you both tonight with a child.”She said Morrigan didn’t want to answer any questions about the original deal because this way no one had to get hurt.

Rena nodded her head in agreement while Morrigan looked around, she didn't need any introduction to know that this must have been the daughter of Ares and the goddess that Gallous served so judiciously. She watched the armored woman remove her helmet and gloves, setting them down nearby and apologize for startling her. "It... it is okay Goddess," Rena's hand rose to her lips as she cold not help but stare in shock. Her husband spoke of seeing Ares and Morrigan on the battlefield often, but she had never seen them up close nor did she ever think she would. For one to see a god or goddess in person was both a blessing and an ill omen depending on their visit. She was surprised however that Morrigan hadn't already known that her husband had gone to the temple to pray, perhaps he had not started his prayers to the goddess and that was why she did not know where he was. To hear that the gods had decided to bless them with a child stunned Rena; she knew Gallous served them well and to hear that they wished to provide such a blessing was beyond her comprehension. "Gallous has gone to your temple, he wished to speak to you and your father Ares about something before he shared it with me... I know it must have been important because of how he paced around our room in silence... could this be what troubled him so?" Rena asked, curious now if that truly had been what sent her husband to the temple in such confusion and disarray and if so, she wondered why it seemed so difficult for him to share. Were there conditions? Was something wrong? Rena's thoughts were spinning wildly and she was only brought back to the moment when Morrigan stopped her to ask if that were still her desire, to have a child. "Yes Goddess, yes it is our desire to still raise a son or daughter!" Rena fell to the floor and bowed in the presence of Morrigan when she revealed that she desired to bless them with child tonight. "Perhaps we should rush to the temple and tell Gallous that I already know and that I am happy to receive your blessing?"

Gallous entered Morrigan and Ares' temple and dropped his hood back. The halls were empty and he could hear his footsteps echoing throughout the massive open room. At the center of the grand hall was a statue of Morrigan and Ares both exquisitely crafted in the heat of a battle spear and sword in hand as they crushed an enemy underfoot above a fountain. As a boy he had always found comfort in this temple, praying to them both to help fashion him into a great warrior and perfect leader as his father had been. He had fallen for the image of Morrigan in his youth, and only loved her more as he grew into the very man he prayed to be. However, after meeting Rena his love shifted to her even though his passion had always remained that of a soldier. He knelt beneath the fountain statue and began to pray. "Ares and Morrigan, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to you for the blessing you proposed to me after our last great battle. But I beg you not to think me rude fore I-" Gallous' prayer was interrupted by a cold hand on his shoulder, when he opened his eyes and turned back to look he found a slightly taller man looking down on him. He wore black and blue robes with a blue hood that he pulled back to reveal a stern face with perfect features. The man's lower lip protruded slightly as he looked down his nose at the general. "What can I do for you?" Gallous asked, the mysterious visitor suddenly putting him on edge although he didn't know why. Without word the man thrust his hand into Gallous' chest and pulled. Suddenly it felt as though there were a great void inside of Gallous, one that had not been there moments before while the mysterious visitor silently held a glowing orb of energy in his hand and squeezed slightly. "Your move Ares," he said bitterly and turned to leave while Gallous stood there lost in a daze.

“Than a child you will have and I will bless it with gifts from the gods,” Morrigan wanted to get this done and over with because being here was taking its toll, her crush on Gallous was to strong. This mortal msn didn’t belong to her even if she had the power to take him for herself, Rena was a kind woman. It was strange she had not noticed Gallous was in her temple but it was prolly because he hadn’t started Praying.
“I’ll do it now and you May tell him once he returns from my temple.”She said moving forward Morrigan placed a gentle hand on Rena and closed her eyes as her hand started to glow with a bright shining gold light. Morrigan let thr beam of energy surge through Rena and kept her eyes closed as it did its job seeking out any flaws within her body and healing the her reproductive organs,Rena would feel a surge of warm energy within her womb and stay there, the child was now growing safe inside her womb. Opening her eyes, Morrigan stepped back and smiled looking over Rena and knee life was growing inside the mortal woman who stood before her. “I bless this child with intelligence and cunning in battle, strength that outmatches Hercules himself and I vow to watch over this child as it grows into a a fine person.”She said, something was happening inside Morrigan she felt proud of what she had done and knew this child would be a hero. A little mark appeared on Rena’s stomach it was the mark of her blessing and protection. The child would grow up happy here and Morrigan would watch over the family until the child came of age. “You don’t have to bow, your service and faith are enough and I trust you both will raise the child well.”She said Morrigan knee Rena would feel different now and that was tge child growing inside her womb. Before Morrigan could say another word, she heard Gallous’s voice and knew he was beginning his prayers to her and Ares but something was wrong as his voice suddenly stopped, something was wrong.
Ares was listening to Gallous pray to him and Morrigan when it suddenly stopped. He then frowned and roared in anger as he heard hades in his temple.the two didn’t get along expect for in times of war. They worked well together but went friends. Ares appeared in his temple spear in hand as he set his eyes first on Gallous then turned his attention to Hades as he headed towards the exit.
“Why are you here Hades and what have you done to my general”? His voice boomed through the halls of marble and stone as he faced the god of the underworld.

Rena stood up with a broad smile on her face, there was a warmth growing in her womb and spreading out through the rest of her body. "Thank you!" Rena said, tears filling her eyes after the gift had been bestowed upon her by Morrigan. "Our child will be raised to honor you and Ares, and when old enough to understand they will be told of the kindness you showed Gallous and I in providing them." She started looking around the home, wondering if her husband had finished praying and was on his way back home yet or not. "When my husband returns, we can share the news together if you wish to stay."

Hades knew that Eres entered the temple, he could sense the moment that his nephew appeared with spear in hand and a wild smirk crossed his lips. The God of the Underworld cracked his neck and turned around to face Ares, the grin never leaving his dark colored lips. Gallous' soul was safely tucked into one of Hades' pockets, he wasn't about to lose such a valuable bargaining chip so soon after having gotten it. A chuckle started to seep through Hades' tight lips before he spoke. "Good evening nephew, I just came to pay my respects and... get your attention," Hades said with a cruel twist on the last of his message. Hades clasped his hands behind his back and started to circle Ares, unafraid of the spear in his hands. "I'm sure you remember one of our last little family get togethers, you'll know the one. Standing just off the coast of Styxx after a particularly bloody battle - those really are the best aren't they? - and I asked you one tiny little thing. After all the centuries and eons of our working partnership, all I wanted was the chance to woo your daughter and you told me to... how did you put it... 'Go hump a corpse'?" Hades laughed again, shaking his head with a wicked smile as he stopped in front of his nephew. "Well, I'm asking again Ares and this time I'm not going to take no for an answer." Hades raised a brow and waited for his nephew's retorts, oh the arguments they were about to have and what fun it would be to squeeze the life out of that mortal's soul to bring Ares to his knees.

“I’m sure you will tell the child about us”Morrigan had done what she had cane here to do, give Gallous and Rena a child. She already knew it was going to be a son. This child would be as great as Hercules if not even better. “Your son will do great things Rena and I will watch over him and I suppose i shall stay until Gallous returns.” With that the goddess sat down unsure of how to act around Rena because she did have a crush on thr poor woman’s husband. She made a goblet of ambrosia wine appear in her hand and sipped it while they waited. Morrigan knee Gallous would be pleased once told the news of his child. He didn’t even gave to betray his wife.Morrigan had put side her own desires to make this loving mortal couple happy but deep down she knew it was the right choice. Morrigan sighed sipping her wine a far off look in her eye as of war goddess of war was troubled herself.
Ares glared at his uncle, gripping his spear tightly as he straightened up, watching Hades approach. “Well you got my attention now, what do you want uncle”?he asked. But Ares had a feeling he knew all to well what this was about. This was about Morrigan and Hades wanting to court his eldest daughter.”Yes, we have been through a lot together uncle and Morrigan isn’t up for counting, I won’t allow my daughter to marry you.”he said chuckling as Hades brought up the insult from so many years ago and that was rightly so giving he was the god of the underworld. “I’m grateful for all the things you have done and fighting by my side I’ll give you anything but Morrigan.”! “Why do you want her so much anyway”? He asked but Ares knew something was wrong, Hades had done something to Gallous and Ares was wanting to fight right here and now. “ Go hump your underworld corpses you will never have Morrigan she is to good for the likes of you.”

"Thank you Goddess," Rena said and took a seat as well, watching Morrigan sipping upon her ambrosia and waiting for Gallous to make it home from the temple. Normally he did not take this long to pray and return, but given the importance of what he wished to pray for perhaps he was taking longer than expected. If Morrigan was seated here with her now, then maybe Ares had heard her husband's call and stayed to speak with him on the matter at hand.

"You would give me anything but Morrigan you say?" Hades asked, sliding in closer to Ares, his angled nose almost brushing against Ares' cheek as the God of the Underworld tried to size up his nephew and add insult to injury where he could. It was fun to toy with the God of War, so easy to push his buttons and to push him off his perfect game with the slightest of pushes. Now he could see why Hercules had such an easy time doing it, but Ares was no fool and could regain his composure and wits soon enough. "Let's put that to the test then, shall we?" Hades licked his hand and used it to smooth out his hair, slicking it back neatly. "You say you won't give me Morrigan, how about another daughter? You've got I don't know how many of them now. Just choose one at random then we dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on then go back to the underworld happy. What do you say?" Hades resumed walking circles around Hades, he knew that the God of War would refuse the obvious taunt. "Going once," he laughed stopping behind Ares and rubbing his nephew's shoulders then gave him a slight slap on the back. "Going twice?" Hades crossed his arms and shook his head. "Oh, still not sold? Well you see, neither am I. Corpses while great for decorating, well you see they're well past their prime in the bed chambers... like my beloved brother, your father if you know what I mean." He elbowed Eres in the ribs and laughed. "Fine then, how about a soul? Just one little insignificant soul and I'll stop bothering you about courting Morrigan. Sounds like a sweet deal, right?" Hades grinned broadly and wiggled his eyebrows while waiting for Eres' response.

“Im glad I could do for you both I don’t have children or a partner.” As Time passed, Morrigan was starting to worry about Gallous, the temple wasn’t far from here and by the looks of it, a rainstorm was coming. Finishing her wine, Morrigan stood and grabbed her helmet and gloves. “I’m going to go check on Gallous, ill be back Rena.”with that Morrigan vanished from the house and traveled to her temple which wasn’t far from the house Rena and Gallous lived, Something was wrong and As she appeared in her temple, she kept to the shadows seeing Gallous and her father, but also her uncle Hades the two were talking about something and Morrigan stayed in the shadows to listen before making her presence known.
“I’m not giving you any of my daughters, but anything else you can have,” “why do you wish to have one of my daughters when there are so many others to pick from.”Ares said. Morrigan listened, her father had once told her Hades had wanted to court her and her father said no but it seemed he was at it again. The god of war remained strong as Hades spoke, moving around him and counting down, he wouldn’t give up his children, he would never marry a daughter of his to hades. “No deal, you will never have my daughters, and what soul”? “Is that what you did to Morrigan’s General”?he asked pointing to Gallous who was kneeling at the alter praying silently. That’s when Morrigan had enough as she stepped out from the shadows. Her boots clicking on the marble floor as she approached the two gods who looked as if they were going to get into a fight. “What in the name of Zeus is going on here”? What’s wrong with my general, I just blessed his wife with a child I need him back, father what’s going on”? She asked looking Between the two gods waiting for an answer.

"I thought as much," Hades said while unaware that he and Eres were now being watched by Morrigan. "So much for begin a God of your word... I ask for a chance, and you shoot me down. I ask for a substitute, since you told me I could ask for anything else... and you tell me to hump corpses again. So I propose another possibility, and you're just shutting me down at every turn. I fail to see where I'm the bad guy here nephew, since I'm the one trying to be cooperative here." Hades said, tossing his hands up in the air and shaking his head once again. "But, since we've reached a point where there isn't going to be any ground given, I should take my shiny new possession - as possession is nine tenths of the law - and we can continue this another time." Hades attempted to bow out gracefully, knowing that he was going to get under Ares' skin doing so, but he never counted on Morrigan stepping out of the shadows and cutting him off. "Don't use that name," Hades flinched at the mention of Zeus' name, throwing his hands up and shaking them trying to keep his composure. He closed his eyes, took another deep breath and slicked back his hair before opening his eyes to answer Morrigan. "Short version, your father thinks I got nothing better to do than screw dead people, and he doesn't like following up on his word with family. I asked for a shot at courting you, he told me to get lost which is what I'm doing. Oh by the way, your little boy toy over there, yeah I have his soul so if either of you want it back you know what I want." Hades said, turning back over his shoulder and looking Ares in the eye. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back downstairs before the inmates begin thinking they can try to run the asylum in my absence." He snapped his fingers and in a puff of dark colored smoke smelling of brimstone, Hades vanished.
