Hey there! I'm a newbie to the site, though not to roleplaying. Basically hoping to make some cool friends and share some adventures. I'm a little shy, and may need a kick to get going...But I'm an entertainer at heart, and that's exactly what I hope to achieve for any partner I roleplay with ^_^

I'm drawn to unusual, surreal stories with high emotions and heavy philosophical themes, though I'm open to anything with a good story-line driven by it's characters. I also enjoy playing multiple characters, just to enrich the story a little.

My Interests are quite vast, but talking Videogames, Philosophy or performing arts is likely to get me yappin'!

Regarding smut and erotica, I do it, sure...But you're not likely to find I'm interested in anything beyond bondage and fetishes. Actual sexual acts barely elicit a response from me, so it's likely pointless to go there unless you're curious (which I doubt anyone is).
I'm also likely to play a female character (I've a general persona for that, usually a witch).
To be honest, it's something that makes me feel a little isolated because I'm yet to find anyone who is like me in that respect. I'd have to feel really comfortable with someone to go there.

Anyways, I hope I can make some friends here soon! I'm really looking forward to some good times here, and hope anyone reading this has an awesome day! :-D

    Bah! -smiles-

If you say you need to up your game because you've seen others who are better. That only means you are on the right path. Growing as a writer: Be it through learning new styles, accepting new genres, or writing with new depth, is always a goal, and shows that you are better than you give yourself credit for XD

I'd definitely prefer writing with those who see themselves striving to be better... Than someone dead-set on how good/bad they are XD

    Oh, and welcome :)

This kinda' made my day, I agree! I love connecting with people this way, and I like to think the more time I spend with people, the more I'll see the world through their eyes. When they have such a beautiful way of doing it, it makes me determined to return the favour :-D

Welcome. I hope you have a wonderful time on BD. c:

My two cents on the matter of writing quality and the content other writers produce: don't compare yourself.
The worst thing you can do is look at someone else's writing and think it's better.
    It's different. It's a literary fingerprint; it's uniquely theirs.
But you have your own style, your own voice, your own tastes.
All that said, every one of us can strive to be better. Just don't shoot for someone else's successes or strengths to achieve your own.
