"You're an idiot!" Rosa said as she landed next to Ninlil.
"Well, hello to you too," Nin said and looked over at Rosa.
Rosa was smaller than Nin in every way with long blonde hair that was dark brown at the roots. Her eyes were bright green and currently bore right into Nin. Some would say they were just a normal couple of females on the roof of a skyscraper, except for the extremely obvious fact that they both had large feathered wings. Rosa's were the brightest white, almost glowing in the brilliance. Ninlil's, however, was the exact opposite, as black as the darkest midnight skies.
Ninlil was a curvy female, popular among human males when she hid her wings and walked the streets like a normal person. Her hair was shoulder length and black. Eyes that were as dark as her wings turned to back towards the street far below.
"Why did you have to fall? Fallen angels are slaves to human kind! The lowest of the low! You can't think for yourself and..."
"You think I don't know that?!" Ninlil snapped at Rosa, making her jump a bit. "I was one of the best Guardians. When they assigned me to that... that piece of shit, I couldn't believe it! I did what i could, but some people just can't be saved."
Rosa scoffed, "What you did was unacceptable, but I didn't come here for that. I came to tell you your charge is a special case. They know what you are and that you have to do whatever they say. If you don't, your very soul will be torn apart. So mind yourself, Ninlil. It's not the time for that infamous attitude of yours." She spread her large wings and took off into the air. Ninlil didn't even watch. Her pride burned within her, a silent raging flame. She heaved and sigh and jumped off the roof. Right before she landed on the street, she hid her wings. Her heels clicked lightly when they hit the concrete. Then she looked around the dark empty street for any sign of life. She had no idea what her charge looked like, so anyone could be them.

Scott Stonewick was leaning against a dumpster, with a smoke in his hand when he saw Ninlil land on the street. So this was the angel tasked with keeping the Faustian Burn from taking his soul and turning him into a full demon. He looked at the scar on his left palm. A small red and black swirling dot. He looked back up at the angel. "I was expecting something a little more grandiose, for an angel of the lord," Scott said as he pushed off the dumpster and started walking towards her. "I'm Scott. Not the typical charge of an Angel, but I gather your not a typical Angel, so I'll keep this short." Scott threw his cigarette on the ground and stepped on it, to grind out the spark. "I am somewhat of a magician. At least I was. Specialised in demonic dealings, if you could call it that. I'm surprised the big G even sent someone. Anyway, About a week ago, a deal went south. Molgrok wanted a little girl, and I wasn't going to give her to him. One thing leads to another, and he grabbed my arm and pulled it through the portal," Scott explained. "Mind you, I managed to break his grip, as I am obviously standing right here-" He gestured to himself. "But People can't enter hell with consequences. The main one being Faustian Burn." Scott started pacing. "I'm not sure what they teach you angels in heaven, about demons, and what happens when humans meddle where, admittedly, we don't belong, but Faustian Burn is a bit of a hassle. In that, it does weird things to a human's soul." Scott turned to the angel. "Now I quite like my soul, so thats why I sent a call. And lo and behold, here you are." Scott paused. He was rambling again. He tended to. He liked his exposition monologues more than he should.
"You're probably wondering why I need an Angel bodyguard, or whatever you call yourselves." He aid gesturing his finger at her. "Well, the answer is simple. Molgrok isn't happy. Hell isn't happy. People on Earth shouldn't have Faustian Burn. The whole natural order is upset. Things are gonna get cooky. The real problem though is that my Faustian Burn is gonna allow demons through onto this plane of existence. Not just the little imps, but the real bad ones. Basically, I need an angel to keep me from becoming a doorway to Hell," Scott explained. He realised she probably already knew all this as she was probably briefed by God or another Angel. "I'm ware you have to do what I say, but I don't intend to take advantage of it, as long as we can stay friends."

"Woah my head hurts. It's too bright out here. Maybe I can find shade somewhere." Konomi exclaims to no one but himself.
He was standing in the middle of the sidewalk, but people went out of their way to avoid him. It was abnormally short for his age, but that wasn't that reason. His frame was somewhat feminine but that also wasn't the reason. It was because his other physical qualities. He had gray skin and white horns that stuck out of the top of his head. His eyes were a pale purple. Underneath his eyes were white, rhinestone looking objects that glittered in the sunlight. He indeed stood out, but he never let that bother him. Maybe he knew that he was different in a bad way, but anyone who truly knows Konomi knows that wasn't the case. Konomi is oblivious to the fact that he isn't like everyone here. It puzzled him. He thought he was doing a good job at blending in. He wore sweaters, jeans, and scarfs he's seen many others wear. He even found a hat lying on the ground. Even through all his attempts, people still stayed clear of him. So he just gave up.
Still searching for a place to find shade, he spots an odd group of people.
"They seem to be having a serious conversation. They have different auras around them though. Nah, I'm probably just imagining it. It's still pretty shady over there. Maybe I can say hi," Konomi says, talking to no one once again. He skips over to the shade.
    "Hello! Please share your shade!"

Ninlil heard a voice and turned around to see Scott walking towards her. While he paced and told her his story, she just stood there with her arms crossed watching him. She would rather do something else, anything else. Her eyes studied his form while he paced. His mark gave him a different aura, and it lifted from him like smoke. She assumed that she was the only one who could see it. Once he got done explaining, she opened her mouth to speak, but then another voice interrupted her. She looked over to see another person. This one wasn't human so she stepped forward to indirectly place herself between the two. It wasn't in a Fallen Angel's nature to be trusting. "Who are you?" She asked Konomi before looking over her shoulder at Scott. "We will continue this discussion later. For now, stay close." She told him and looked back to Konomi. There was just something about him that struck her as off and made her cautious.
