    The Haunted Hotel of BDRP

Welcome to the Haunted Hotel of Black Dahlia Roleplaying. Here, we welcome creatures of any origin to come and stay the night or to come and terrorize the not-so-welcomed guests. For you human-feeding beasts, please do keep the mess to a minimum. We're busy enough as it is without having to deal with disposing of any unfortunate bodies. And the higher ups have told me that the kill count needs to be kept low this year. Buuuut, what they don't know won't kill them, right? but it might kill me if they find out.

How to participateThis is a drop in, drop out style roleplay. If you would like to come in and stay for the full run of this thread, then you are very much welcome to do so! If you want to stop on by to get enough posts to earn The Blood Moon medal, then leave, you are welcome to do so.

Please keep posts in third person. (He/she/they, not I/you/we)

You can join in as guests, visitors, employees, or pretty much anything that you would like. It's pretty much an open world within this one magical location that's built to accommodate anyone that wants to come on by. You are welcome to interact with other users or just with NPCs (which I'll be trying to juggle) if you would rather.

Basically, it's a pretty free form roleplay setting for everyone to try and have fun and mix n' mingle.
Rules and courtesyOf course, there are rules and things to keep in mind if you are participating.
    1) Keep any graphic scenes in spoilers with warnings! - Due to the nature of this RP, they are allowed but not everyone wants to see it.
    2) Don't kill off anyone's characters without their permission. -Again, due to the nature, it might be tempting, but this is a no-no.
    3) Wait for 2 posts between your own posts.
    4) Write at least 4 sentences per reply.
•) If you are interacting with another user or multiple users, please tag them in your post.
Starter PostThere is an old creepy hotel that nobody seems to ever be on the same page about. Some humans claim that it is just a myth spoken about to cause nightmares in the younger audience members. Some monsters claim that it is the safest place to be when their kind are getting hunted down. Some people say that it is completely overrun with plant life while others say that it is the most pristine building they have ever seen.

The thing is that the only one of these tales that is wrong is the one that says that the Haunted Hotel does not exist. It is an old building that has been under a range of enchantments over the centuries. It changes and adapts to each individual's needs and desires. Every single room is different, some taking to a very outdoorsy aesthetic while others are better than the high end hotels that humans so adore. Some rooms are practically flooded while others are practically deserts. Some stay light all the time and some have barely working lights at all. The enchantments will make sure that there's a room fit for any being that walks, slithers, bounces, flies, floats, or otherwise enters through the door.

As you enter through the large entryway, the lobby seems modern enough. Smooth tile floors in a cream color, walls in a pale red hue, a dark wooden front desk, chairs and couches off to one side. A long but slender table against the furthest wall, various jugs of colorful and colorless liquids sitting there available for the guests to enjoy. To some, this is a very cozy welcome, while others feel it is too bright, but it is only the entrance after all. The comfort is meant to be in the individual rooms, which could be accessed by walking through the hallways on either side of the reception, then heading up the stairs or elevator to find the right floor and the right room number.

Leaning in a bored manner on the desk, dressed in a casual but still somewhat dressy suit, is a wolf furry. His bone hand rests lightly on the earthy material as the fingers tap idly on the surface. His other hand, a cross between a human hand and a wolf's paw, was resting on his cheek as two pale brown eyes looked absently out into the open space. Sharp ears were twitching ever so slightly as he listened to every little sound that could reach him, ready to leap into action at a moment's notice if he was actually needed for anything.

"Welcome," he offers a greeting as someone walks through the door. He straightens up and puts the bone hand on a keyboard to the computer system, ready to take care of getting a new guest signed in for the next night or few. Now that he's not slouched over, it is apparent that he is wearing a red shirt underneath the black coat, and it seems to be a little discolored around the collar. A silver name tag with black letters was pinned over where his heart should be and read "Maya". No last name, or maybe it had no first name. It did not mention his position in the hotel, so it wasn't clear if he was just a normal assistant or if he was somewhere higher up on the chain of command. What was clear, though, was that he was obviously here to help out the guests.

Warning! Probably slightly graphic in these posts of mine.
The night was dark, only moonlight lit his way, mist swirled around him as he walked up the steps, this will be great. Damien entered the old hauntingly fascinating hotel silently, Keeping to the shadows to avoid attracting attention for light splatters of blood littered his silky blonde hair. His deep green eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses. The monster in him that killed again tonight while on his way to the Hotel.
Being immortal is one thing you get to live forever and party for eternity but you see it’s a rather bad combination when your a vampire who before was a human serial killer. Damien was all kinds of crazy rolled into one murderous mess. Which was exactly how he liked it.
Staying here was only temporary, Damien needed a place to lay low for a few days. He had killed to many in town draining them dry of blood and people were starting to investigate. Damien heard many stories about the hotel and figured this was his best choice. No one in their right mind would come here.

Finding the front desk, the vampire smirked running his tongue across his fangs. This place could be fun. He thought. Damien wore black skinny jeans with a black shirt, spiked biker boots and a black leather jacket. Skull rings rested on the fingers of his left hand. A duffle bag was slung over his shoulder while He started curiously at the creature behind the desk. “I'd like a room.” He said. No telling what kind of trouble Damien would get himself into but oh boy was he looking forward to it after all tomorrow night was Halloween.

Killian Drach was a lost soul. A regular at the Haunted Hotel. In what seemed like another life, Killian Drach was a holy man. He used to be a man of God, devoutly ridding the world of evil. There would have been a time when his presence would have sent fear straight into the hearts of the undead, but Killian gave that up centuries ago. Not of his own volition, kind you, but instead was forced to. His soul damned. Now, Killian walks the earth for eternity, trying to find a way to save his soul.

That leads us back to now. Killian Drach’s imposing 6’4 figure, clad in a dark long coat in a duster style, entered the Hotel lobby, looking to spend another few nights in the hotel to break up the monotony of life. He just wanted to get off the street. Tomorrow night was Halloween after all.

"You don't say," the canine teased slightly at the obvious statement about needing a room. He was already putting it into the system as he took in the discoloration of what seemed to be blond strands of hair. "It looks like you have had a fun night. So, what name shall this reservation be under? And is three nights long enough? Or shall I make it a week's stay?" he hummed, obviously not to perturbed in the least over the unsettling state of the bloodsucker. "Oh, before we go any further, seeing as how you have just enjoyed yourself a lovely full course meal, going based on the tasty remains, please do try to refrain from feeding on other guests while you are staying with us. What you do to outsiders is up to you, though," he explained, then looked up past his current client to the ex-holy man that entered. A regular that tended to stop by whenever he was looking for something a little different. As he returned to assisting the vampire with checking in, he gave a quick double snap to have someone else assist the regular.

    @Sanity43217
A peppy little gargoyle, standing at a moderate 5', made their way up to the figure clad in the impressive coat. They rolled their shoulders and dropped their wings to stand more upright in an attempt to be eye level with the tall male, but was still way below matching Killian's intimidating frame.

"Welcomesh back, sir," a gravelly voice chirped through the stone beak. "Do you 'ave any belongings t' take t' yer room? Or would ya like t' go ahead n' go t' th' meetin' room to socialize? Maya shall get you check'd in as soon as 'e can." they offered, well aware that the room would get booked the same as it always was whenever this old guest stopped on by. Same room, around the same time of year, always ready for when this fallen follower of God decided to stop on by and cause some trouble. Though trouble was used very loosely here, since it wasn't like the truly troublesome guests who tended to try and actually demolish the hotel during their stays...

“It’s always fun watching the life fade out of a person.” He chuckled at the new memory of the human life he’d taken only mere hours away. It was glorious, a rush just like always. Being a vampire only made him worse. A serial killer who could not die.
“Damien” he Answered the canine‘s question coldly. “A Week is fine by me.” He said being a man of few words or when he didn’t wish to talk to anyone. This Hotel was merely serving its purpose to hide him until the coast was clear. This being his first time here, nobody knew who he was which was good.Damien hated playing by the rules, if he so desired, This whole place could be littered with corpses by sunrise. But seeing that this was his best option for the moment, Damien agreed unwillingly. “Fine, I won’t feed on the guests but it’s not my fault if they find their way to my room by themselves.” He said. His eyes flashed pitch black for a moment as Damien smirked evilly at the canine behind the counter. It was an odd unsettling look that told anyone all they needed to know. This was a creature who truly had no soul, no conscious. “After all tomorrow night is Halloween, anything could happen.” He said after his eyes returned to their normal shade of lovely green.
After all it was his favorite time of year. Once checking in was complete, Damien walked passed the ex holy man quickly, eager to figure out his next move.

Drach reaches into his coat. The motion opening up a bit, revealing some of the weapons beneath. Including the large pistol strapped in a shoulder holster, and the trench knife on his hip. The movement wasn’t meant to be threatening, he was just reaching into his pocket to grab his keys and a twenty dollar bill. He dropped them
Into the hand of the gargoyle. “As always, the two Chests in the back seat, and the bundle in the passenger seat.” He said turning to the Gargoyle. “It’s the aston martin rapide 2018, parked just outside. No matter what, don’t open the boot. This is of the utmost importance. The boot must not be opened, He said emphasising the need for the boot to remain closed.

Red scurried up the steps to the hotel and entered the lobby. The little gremlin had green skin, large bat-like ears and a tuft of red hair on his head. He stood a little less than three feet tall when he stood up straight, but when he wasn't crawling he walked hunched over. As he entered the well lit lobby he raised a clawed hand to shield his eyes and gave a low growl.

He walked over to the table filled with beverages. A croak escaped from his lips that vaguely sounded like "yum yum," and he scampered up onto the table. He grabbed a jug seemingly at random, took a few large gulps and with a huge burp put it back in its place. He grabbed a different jug and jumped down from the table, feet pattering on the floor as he made his way to the check-in counter.

Red climbed onto the table with some effort, refusing to let go of his drink despite it being almost half his size. He looked at the wolf and grumbled something that could be interpreted as "Red." One could guess that he was introducing himself. Or he was stating his favorite color. It was difficult to tell which.

Amelia heaved the great heavy doors open, quickly slamming them behind, back pressed firmly. Her face beamed red in a mixture of rage and panic, gasping for air...
Soggy tendrils of green hair hung over her shoulders in a not-so-graceful manner, and a puddle leaked outward over the pale tiles.

"That...floating thing doesn't work, you idiots!" She hissed back through the door, only wasting what little breath she'd regained. Whatever had been on the other side was long gone.

It took a few moments for the Witch to compose herself. As her frantic breathing slowed, she looked down at drenched clothes in embarrassment. Another perfectly good hut, torched.
Another chorus of pitchforks, eager to turn her into a pitchfork cushion!

And this drowning thing was getting old real fast. Nobody ever floated with stones tied to their ankles! The sodden ropes were still knotted there, though she'd luckily been able to free the rocks before creating the threshold.

t-t-t-t-tap!... t-t-t-t-tap... Bony fingers in a rhythmic rattle...

"Welcome!' A voice yelped out, making her jolt in shock. Her eyes darted to the source.
    What she saw was...Odd.

Some manner of creature, not man nor beast. The Witch strode over, and cleared her throat of river water.
"Ahem..." She started, glancing down for a nametag. "...Maya?"
Maya...An illusion? Or generous? A trick? Or a treat? Both?

    "Uhhh...Need a room...And a towel...And a Bath....And a minty chocolate on my pillow...And..."

She didn't ask for much...She just asked for everything. By the time she'd finished, she'd already dried up some...

When a week's reservation was confirmed, the creature behind the counter finished getting everything registered and picked up a key card to hand to the creature of the night. A soft, eerie chuckle was given in response at the way that Damien commented about not being at fault if any of the guests found the bloodsucker's room on their own. "That is a very valid point. That is why I have requested that you just attempt to avoid upping your body count. While humans might be dense and easy to fool, it's a bit harder to placate creatures much like yourself," Maya pointed out, then offered a friendly wave of the bony fingers as he watched the other male take off for who-knows-what-troubles. "If there is blood to clean up come morning, we might have to revoke your stay," he muttered under his breath, only to glance up when more people entered. Ah, it was always busy right around Halloween. Probably because that was when humans seemed to be more aware of the supernatural world around them, even if they thought it was all just fun and games.

    @Dhrixarc @Digital Dream-walker
"Welcome," the canine greeted the two clients that came on in. His tail swished a bit as he glanced over to make sure the gargoyle was doing its job well, then he snapped his attention down to the small and cute green gremlin that scampered on up on the desk. A gruff grumbling of "red" could be made out, which had perky ears flick. "Yes, Blood is Red," he responded to the single word greeting as a dripping wet female came on over and practically demanded his full attention.

"I'll be right-" he started to try and get order to this forming line, but was interrupted as the witch started to rattle off the things that she needed. The odd receptionist didn't seem to be listening to her ramblings as he called out "Cleaning! Got a spill in the lobby!" Then he turned back to the screen and started to type away at the keyboard while a couple of pale forms made their way out with mops, wet floor signs, and "No licking the fluids" signs. They did get some odd guests, and when they decide that 'water' on the floor was fair game... They got sick and made more of a mess of things.

Once the practically waterlogged guest finished her long list of requests - demands, more like-, the canine lifted a card up and held it out to her. "I signed you in under 'Water Witch. Once you've gotten a nice hot shower in, a warm soak to chase the cold away, and made sure that everything is in order, please feel free to come back down and mingle for a bit. Oh, and don't feed the familiar. They are there to assist you and do not need any physical food unless they leave our property," he explained, quick to dismiss her so that he could go back to the green form that was standing on the desk.

"Now, I think you are looking for a room for the night? Or for the week? Or are you just here to look for your friends? I think they are currently in the breaker room, tinkering with the backup backup generator. Or maybe they are somewhere else," he offered, trying to be helpful with the minimal information he had been provided.

    @Sanity43217
The gargoyle flinched away from the motion as the coat was opened up, half expecting to get hit with some unknown weapon or spell. When nothing happened, only the impressive pistol getting flashed in the process of keys getting fetched, and a strange green sheet of paper getting shoved into his clawed hand, the stony creature stared down for a moment.

"I'll take care of that," one of the ghostly janitors hummed in a slightly moany tone as she lifted the keys from the less intelligent creature's talon. "It's always a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Drach," she greeted him before floating on out to go take care of bringing in the directed supplies that were the normal stash that this immortal tended to bring along with him. Always with the same rules about never opening the boot, even though it only left the staff curious. They knew better than to disobey, though, as the last person who seriously considered it was not seen from again. Nobody was sure if that was because of management handling the employee, or because something more sinister (or maybe actually pure?) was involved.

"We'll get ye ch'cked in, th'n," the gravelly voice grumbled as the protective stone still looked down at the bill that had been handed over. It seemed to be interesting, and a lot of clients tended to use these sheets of paper for things, but the poor thing still wasn't entirely sure what it was good for. Well, it could give it to Maya once the current queue was handled, hopefully.

"Oh dear..Oh dear!" Dark blue eyes stared at the dust clump that had fallen from her pail. In her other hand she held a feather duster, one that was trying it's damnedest to dust a picture at her side. The women's issue...ifshe could be call that was still watching the dust. For it had turned into a little ball, two candies which had been in the pile now appeared to be the eyes of the new creature. "Always magic mucking up my job." She lifted her heel of her black shoes and with a stomp flattened the dust ball and listened to the candies crunch and shatter into pieces. Black ears twitched upon her head, shaped very much like a feline, there was also a matching tail coming from the back of her outfit, a simple black and white maid outfit. it might have been a little scandalous, but more often than not it was a appreciated.

Satisfied that things were going her way she lifted her shoe back and her eyes widened, pupils dilating as she watched the dust form multiple new pests for her to take care of. The crumbles of candles making new eyes and even little rows of teeth. There was a chorus of tiny chattering and off they went! The duster in her hand had a feathery tongue that was licking the picture clean. "Come on!" She looked to it and rolled her eyes. "Its clean! It's clean!" She said giving the handle a shake as she went off down the velvet red hallway, pictures moving in their frames to watch the newest scene of entertainment break loose in the hotel.

“Sure thing, we will see.”Damien smirked as he left the front desk, key card in one hand his duffle bag in for other as he headed upstairs. If they didn’t find blood in the morning he could rack up his body count. No body no blood, Damien was sure he could find plenty of places to hide a few corpses and get out of here before the week was up possibly. Damien didn’t get along with other creatures of the night. Other vampires hated him, but it never seemed to bother him, if he had the chance Damien would kill any creature who crossed his path. Arriving at his room, number 215 at the end of the hall, stepping inside the door creaked hauntingly as his eyes traced over the room, the walls were black, a huge black frames bed sat in the center of the with room, dark green silk sheets covered it. There was a single window with a great view of the night sky. There was a fireplace lighting up the room with a nice leather chair beside it. It was simple the way Damien liked it. Tossing the duffle back on the hard wooden floor, he fell onto the bed with a sigh staring blankly up at the ceiling as he contemplated his next move. Let the blood bath begin he thought.

Her mouth had run away with itself, when the final word twisted into a
'HELLooww" upon hearing she'd get a nice hot shower. The Witch batted her eyelashes and accepted the keycard, a sudden grin pasted over her lips. "Thanking you kindly!"

Now that she'd gotten her way, she glanced at the creature stood upon the table next to her. 'So cute!' She thought, resisting the urge to pet the little red tuft poking from atop its head. She had the feeling it could quite easily bite her hand off. Instead, she made her way through the labyrinthine corridors. It took a little while to find room '219'. Eventually, a green door bearing her number in brass came up. Were she not eyeing up the cute maid across the corridor, she'd have waltzed straight in. The sight of such wonderfu-
    'Amelia. Shower. NOW!'

Walking into the room was a sudden delight upon her eyes. Like, a disgustingly grand version of her own familiar hut! Warped wooden walls, a bed with all the right grooves in it, and a mess of weird items. Shrunken heads, pentagrams and tarot cards. 'Oh my!'
She paced over to the curtains and drew them open. A mob of pitchforks were shouting outside for her!? She drew them shut again, peeking through the gap with one eye, before opening again in confusion. Now the view was Underwater? A pair of rocks in the muddy basin.

"Wait just one second..." She thought out loud, once again closing them, then picturing something in her mind before re-opening. Now, it showed their village up in flames while the mob desperately rushed with water buckets, yelling in panic and terror.

"Hehehe..." She chuckled, leaning dreamily to gaze into the flames. "Now that's a room with a view..."

    Visitors. Visitors.

The tiny crow on her shoulder chirped with each key that was given out from the lobby. It's beak opened and a small puff of smoke appeared, numbers of rooms steaming out in pink and purple smoke. Sometimes it was green and blue. Other things red and black. The maid coughed and blew at the bird on her shoulder. "Will you stop that. I really don't get any rest here do I!?" She about shrieked, her long tail flicking with annoyance, hears flattening against her black hair. The neko was pretty much stuck in the hotel. When she was living...her nose scrunched. She liked to believe she was still alive, she walked, she talked, she moved around, ate and did other things...she grinned to herself, pointed fangs pressing on her pink lips as she let her shoe come down on a separated puff of dust. "Your time is over." She said grinding the toe of her shoe into the velvet carpet. When she pulled it back there was a black mark on the carpet that set her eyes wide.

    "Shit."

In any case. She was stuck here. When she was alive she worked here and let's just say those that stay here aren't always nice. "How many years now?" She mumbled and the bird chirped a numeral five into the air. "Ah. Yes. Five years stuck with your inconsiderateness on my shoulder." Bending over she stared at the soot spot that stained the carpet, the end of her skirt brushing the backs of her thighs, showing off smooth skin as her tail flicked. Her attention was moving, up ahead along the hallway the soots were leaving trails, making her clean hallway a disaster. "Do something!" She waved the bird off her shoulder and the black crow went hawk mode and was soaring after what remained, red smoke trails shooting out and steaming those soots into dust that didn't move.

With more composure in herself than she had in the last few moments, the women turned with a slow spin, dress flaring even more scandalously as she opened a closet and pulled out a few bags. She hung them upon the doors that had current residence in them. Inside they would find a small handbook of hours that probably wouldn't be the best for running around. When to expect any sort of food and when the drinks in the lobby would be changed with something different. She also added her card into all the bags. A black slick card with red trim. It had her extension on it with a little skull next to it. `

    -No calls at 3AM

That was her only issue. She reached into the pocket of her apron, pulled out mints that seemed to always stay filled and added them in as well. Because who doesn't love a few mints on their nightly stays?

"One for you...." She said as she hung it on the door, nails lightly scratched the wood before she was on to the next...and so on~

"Are you sure this is the place you seek?"

"Of course," Aarya murmured, dainty heels clicking against the damp cobble stones as she walked with slow surety. Tucking a stray lock of long white hair behind her ear she absent mindedly stroked her sapphire necklace that rested against fair and youthful skin.

"I worry, you know I only have your best interests at heart my dear. I do not wish harm to come to you."

"I know, it is fine. I have sought room and board here once before remember mother, some ..." looking up at the setting sun in thought with duel coloured eyes, "yes, some centu-"

A small noise caught Aarya's attention, her blue and amber gaze drifting down to land on a small child eating what used to be a lollipop until it had landed on the dirty ground, staring wide eyed up at her like she was crazy. "Who're you talkin' to misses?" The little boy asked, unease taking hold if him.

Aarya crouched down slowly so that she was eye level to the boy, her white and blue chiffon dress that hugged her hourglass frame fluttering out around her slim ankles. Looking around the empty street, she replied innocently, "no one dear boy," a hint of a smile on her pink painted lips.

"But-" She produced another lollipop from her dress pocket, distracting his protest. "Run along before your parents worry," ruffling his hair as he took off on his bike, lollipop in hand and left her standing before a seemingly tangled forest. The boy didn't need to know of the spirits and ghouls that lurked here. She watched him go and stepped through the vegetation, magic sliding over her like a warm embrace until she came upon the hotel.

Approaching the desk inside the hotel, her petite 5'5" frame was just tall enough as she adressed the young wolf man behind the desk politely once it was her turn in line. "I come seeking room and board, please. One weeks stay. Suite preferably, and top floor if you would be so kind." She suddenly slid an old gold coin across the desk from seemingly no where seeing as she had no luggage or purse on her. "Will this amount suffice?" Sweet features peeking up at him as she held herself regally, hands clasped behind her back.

Amelia admired her refreshed face in the bathroom mirror, brushing the long silky green locks and grinning like a spoiled brat. She'd never had a bathroom in the hut. Just a huge metal tin she filled with river water.
Finally, it seemed the universe was answering her many demands. Luxury at last! Soon enough, she'd upgrade from her twisted little shack to something more befitting! A castle maybe, or the tallest tower in the dimension.
The Witch exhausted her power just making it to the hotel. A good salt bath later, and she was fully charged. Everything was almost perfect...Almost.

Her most treasured item was missing. While the Witch herself wouldn't float to the surface of the river she'd been dumped in, unfortunately her grand hat had. Wondering what fate it'd come to, the Witch decided a little scrying was in order...So she filled a glass with water, lit a candle before the mirror, and splashed its contents upon the surface. Gazing into the warped image, the layers soon melted away. She focused, searching as the flame flickered against the bending drops of water...
The image melted, showing her hat buoyant over the filthy river, while peasants took turns to shoot arrows into it. Cheers erupted for every direct hit... Each one sinking into the fabric like the stab of a needle into a poppet of herself.

Her lip pursed to conceal its tremble...Her eyes, gleaming with the sting she hid. 'Forget it! It was too small anyway!' She turned from the mirror and stormed out for the main room, passing by the illusion outside the window. The flames were still raging out there...But it wasn't real. In reality, those people were likely going about their normal lives. Celebrating the death of another wicked witch. Her eyes sank...

"Hello, you." Said a deep voice behind her. She span, startled. Who the heck had gotten into her room!? When she saw, her eyes widened...
A Cat with a huge head, an enormous fanged grin and large purple eyes, sat in the groove of her bed. Its fluffy fur was clad in black and white stripes, and beneath it's claws...Was her trusty hat!
"It's easier to smile than frown, you know?"
'This must be the familiar the Maya mentioned!' She realised, as it floated toward her, placing the hat like a crown upon her head.
"Now...I did a good job, didn't I?" It declared with a rumbling purr. "So, if you'd be so kind...FEEED MEEE..."

She remembered the rules...Not that she ever followed rules, but this thing was a little too nice.
"We're not supposed to feed you!" Spat Amelia, barging past the mangy feline.
Sharp claws clamped to her shoulder as the familiar arched itself there.
"Ouch!' She hissed trying to bat it off. "What in the three faces of Hecate are you DOING!?"
"Feed me! Then I can come home with you!" It answered, beaming its smirk wider. "You Witches love to take in strays, don't you? And they don't want me here! They're always complaining that I shred the furniture!"
    "You'd shred MY furniture!"
"What furniture? It's all ashes now, isn't it? Besides, looking at your tastes, you don't seem to mind things having a little...Character to them."
Now she was getting angry...She grasped the cat by the ear, peeled him off her shoulder, and dumped him back on the bed. Then stormed out the door, slamming it behind.
It'd be a good time to head downstairs for the lobby and mingle...Not that she was the friendly sort, but it was either that or the CAT.

"I'll be here if you change your mind! I like Fish! Lot's of fish!" it called from inside, muffled by the door between them.

    'Yeah. Let's mingle for once.'

She made her way, settling down in the lobby seating...sulking in silence...

"Friends!" Red howled in his most comprehensive utterance yet! He took a quick swig from his bottle and then leaped off the front desk. He eagerly started to scamper down the hallway in search of the other gremlins. Truth be told, he had no idea where the backup backup generator actually was and he wasn't the type to ask for directions. Instead, he began to check every door he came across. He wandered first into the kitchen, where the alluring smells lured him close to a nice bubbling pot. He almost managed to scoop a handful of the liquid, but one of the chefs caught him just in time and threw him out.

Red continued along his journey, traveling down a hallway with room's for visitors on either side. He jumped up onto each door knob, opening the ones that were unlocked while scratching and hissing at the locked ones. Of the few that were unlocked, Red interrupted a gorgon styling her hair, a vampire feeding on some unfortunate human, a succubus giving a private show to a group of monsters and a group of small elves baking cookies.

Somehow, through random chance, Red's next destination happened to be the breaker room. Perhaps it was a sixth sense he had for his fellow mischief-makers that led him there, or maybe it was the large explosion, but regardless he had found his kin. Now, everyone knows that if you want something smithed or forged you ask a dwarf. If you want something created or invented, you ask a gnome. If you want something destroyed or blown up, you ask a gremlin. Which is why the hotel staff only let the gremlins "tinker" with the backup backup generator. If they were let loose on the main generator the hotel would have a blackout. Now there was just the risk of no emergency power, noise complaints, and immense property damage instead.

There it was. Black ears twitched to the howling sound of the gremlin. Dark blue orbs widened then narrowed as she knew what troubles the hotel was going to be thrown into...even more so than normal.
"Not again." She huffed, the crow that was perched near her swooped around her, its cawing echoing down the hall. A hand raised and she waved it off. "Go on you silly bird. I don't have time for that." She said pulling from a little pocket what looked like a decaying old mouse. With a toss she sent it into the air, with a swoop the bird took it in it's beak and down the hallway it went to eat it...or stash it. She never was really sure what it was going to do. It only half listened to her anyway.

Upon entering the lobby, she saw how half the liquids set upon the tables were all either empty or half full. Clearly...the lobby was never that busy. Her cat like eyes narrowed, ears turning one way then the other as he listened for the culprit who was really more trouble than they were worth. Gremlins. There should be a sign out for them. Or at least a separate wing...separate building for those beings. Her clawed fingers rubbed at her neck a little uneasily..then her chest, right between her breasts as if she was remembering something she rather not. Tail bristled as she heard commotion in the kitchen. She was on it. Instead she was met with an angry kitchen, grumbling and tossing things around. She slipped her hand along a rack, a long knife tugging into her hand as she dashed away before she could be stopped.

"I'm taking care of it!" She yowled back, a fang poking against her lip. Her nose caught the scent, gremlins always had the scent of...something else. It wasn't pleasant either. "Where are you, you little trouble maker." She hissed, tail flicking behind her as she poked her head into one room, the scent of cookies came to her nose and she stopped outside the door, the toe of her shoe pushed the door open and she licked her lips. "My it smells delightful in here." She said stabbing the hall wall with the knife as it implanted itself, a large eye suddenly opened from the blades handle before rolling around and then narrowing at the feline maid as she took a step into the room with the elves.

"Christmas cookies?" She asked raising a brow. Boy they must have been on vacation.

After awhile of staring up at complete darkness which was the ceiling, Damien found himself roaming the halls of the Hotel, hands in the pockets of his studded leather jacket as the floorboards creaked slightly. Vampires didn’t require sleep after all, leaving him to wander the night. The Hotel was only here to serve as his cover for the next few days, it wasn’t like he cared about anyone or anything for that matter. Only blood mattered, the ungodly thirst which crawled at his throat night after night, it taunted him, forcing him to let his demons out to play ruining any chance at finding the goodness in him. He chuckled at the thought, there was no good in him, there had never been any redeeming qualities in him. Soon Damien found his way outside, stepping into what looked like a garden behind the Hotel. The flowers didn’t bloom at night, only certain ones opened their petals at night. Not a sound greeted him as the vampire contained on his way, enjoying the silence. While he walked, Damien began to think of his next destination after things cooled down. Maybe he’d go back to his homeland or travel someplace new. Stopping he sat beside a stone gargoyle to stare up at the full moon. It was hard not to kill everyone here, because to him it would be fun. So Far Damien hasn’t bothered to interact with the other guests which suited him just fine. He’d problem just kill them all if the right moment presented it’s self.
