It's Friday night as Lawyer James Thackery exits the limo stopping in front of the city hall. Tonight he's the special guest at a event between the police force and several local companies who all create projects or events to support the public. In James's firm's case his lawyers are teaming up with the cops when it comes to giving them legal advice when it comes to arresting thugs, police raids and dealing with lawyers who want to sue the police force. Where towards the public it should look like a perfect project with the cops wanting to lower the amount of incidents in fact it's actually a cover up to allow James and his mobster friends to gain easy access to the police force and the moles working within that force.

The man steps out of the car with him smiling widely in front of the camera, stopping from time to time to pose in front of it. Thankfully he has a lot of experience with the media, by handling alot of lawsuits which draw alot of media attention. Even tonight some reporters try to get him to talk about one of his latest case; the renown DeWitt case. "Mister Thackery, any comments on the DeWitt case?", one of the female reporters from a local TV station asks loudly with the lawyer stopping for a moment. "Now Miss Reed, we all know I am here for this event and the wonderful project we've setup. I am not going to talk about the DeWitt case or any case at all. If you want to ask me be at court Monday at 9 AM and you can ask me everything you want", he says kindly before smiling softly with him walking inside having given the reports plenty of time to take all the pictures they needs.

Once inside he smiles towards the Mayor and the chief of police with him shaking their hands while greeting them in front of the event's photographer taking several pictures for in the local people and for the city council's website. "Mayor, chief it's good to see you", James says kindly with both men nodding kindly at him before the chief of Police places his hand on the lawyer's shoulder. "James I have a problem in which you can help me. We have a reward ceremony later at this event and one of the people handing out the prizes isn't available, would you be willing to take that spot", he asks with the lawyer nodding and smiling kindly.

"Of course it starts at 11 right? All I have to do is hand out a prize and smile infront of the camera?", he replies with the mayor laughing a little bit. "It's the perfect job for you James, you'll fit right in", he says with the shake of the head. "Now gentlemen excuse me as I have other guests to tend to", the mayor adds with him walking away to greet the other guests. "I'll do it", James says with the chief nodding only to look at him seriously. "Talk to Detective Mason when you have the time, he can tell you more about the prize-winner as it might be someone you need to keep an eye out for your other special project", the chief whispers before smiling again as he takes a few steps back. "Thank you James I will see you during the ceremony", the man adds before looking around.

A waitress soon arrives to ask the lawyer if he wants a drink which he gladly and kindly accepts before looking around the room. It doesn't take him too long before he spots detective Mason with him walking towards the detective all while stopping right next to him. "I heard you have info for me?", James asks seriously with the detective reaches for his cigarettes. "Join me outside to many ears that can pick something up", the detective replies with both men walking towards the exit and the balcony as the lawyers feels someone's eyes are locked on to him with him realizing that someone might be watching him or the detective.

    "Miss Sharp!"

Jackie could hear the loud, raspy voice of the chief of police across the noisy hall. The way the older man squeezed past the other guests with an unbothered expression on his face made her feel uneasy. Why is he looking for me? She thought to herself. Not that she was afraid of whatever he would tell her. Chief Robinson had worked together with her father back in the days and been considered a close friend to her family. So, when the tall man reached to her, he greeted her with a soft smile. "Miss Sharp, are you ready for tonight?" He asked her and Jackie immediately spotted something was odd with his behavior.

Whenever they met when she was wearing her badge, they rarely interacted at work. Because why would they? Jackie was what they called "a rookie", which is someone that rarely get even a chance to get a glimpse of the chief. While she only graduated six months ago, she has already shown that she is a talent and while the older cops enjoy reminding her about her father's legacy, and demise, tonight was a big night for Jackie. She was the youngest cop to be nominated for a prize at the annual gala the city puts up for this city police force and while anyone has a chance to win it, Jackie is determined she will snatch it, considering her father had once done it ages ago.

"Chief, I'm ready for anything," Jackie told him with a cocky smile and she leaned back against the wall behind her, pressing her right heeled foot against it. She was wearing a shorter, burgundy colored cocktail dress with a flared skirt. This off-shouldered dress suited her body perfectly, showing off her athletic features while it still made her look feminine. The redhead was also wearing a matching, deep red lipstick on her plump lips and her hazel eyes had a certain sparkle in them, probably due to being offered free drinks from the right and left ever since she came here.

The chief chuckled at her response and shook his head. "You are always so self-confident, just like Grant." While she didn't mind hearing her father's name being uttered now and then, Jackie would always feel it was bittersweet. Her father had once been a police detective, just like her, and had been very successful. He had solved a lot of cases, as well as doing a good deed for this city. But... his work had also ended his life. Jackie still remembers the headlines the day after he had been ambushed and killed by the mobsters. Everyone knew about it and it seemed his death would continue to haunt her for the rest of her life.

"I know." She responded to the chief's comment briefly, hoping he wouldn't stay on that subject for far too long. "That's why I hope I will receive my well-deserved prize later tonight." She then said and her confident smile returned on her red stained lips. Chief Robinson let out a bursting laugh, but then, suddenly, he leaned in closer to her, almost as if he was about to share her a secret.

"I will not tell you how tonight will end, but I may know who will win each prize tonight." He whispered with a sly smile. "I can't reveal any details, but I can tell you this, make sure to look out for someone named James Thackery." He told her and with that, he retreated and left Jackie alone to ponder on that information. She knew she had heard his name before, but she couldn't figure out who he was. As she was deep in her thoughts, she suddenly noticed two men walking past her. She glanced up and noticed that they were heading outside. One of them was a handsome man she felt she had seen somewhere before, maybe a local celebrity? The other man was Detective Mason, a grumpy man, and her supervisor.

As they passed her and disappeared outside, Jackie got an idea. Maybe Mason knew who this James Thackery was? While he looked busy, she decided to follow them out, but before she got a chance to move, another waiter stopped her and without asking if she wanted a drink, the man shoved a glass into her hand and quickly left her. That was odd. She thought to herself, but didn't really think much about it and started to sip on the drink as she waited for the ceremony to start.

As the two men step out onto the balcony James notices that the detective seems to be signaling towards someone with the feeling of him being watched vanishing just moments later with the lawyer figuring that Mason might be the cause of it. Both men walk towards the furthest corner of the balcony with them standing as close to the wall as possible with James turned towards the building to inspect his black suit in the window's reflection. "So what is it?", he asks with him turning around to rest his body against the same window while looking at the grumpy old detective.

"You can recall the name Grant Sharp right?", Mason asks with James nodding. "Who hasn't heard of him legendary detective killed in the line of duty", he replies as little bit unsure why he would bring up a detective who's been dead for at least 15 years if not longer. "Good what you might not know is that Sharp was looking into corruption within the force which according to one of the many stories got him set up and killed in a mobster trap. Now you must wonder why I am telling you this but Sharp has a daughter a girl called Jackie", the detective explains with him stopping for a moment to take a puff of his cigarette with James chuckling softly.

"Let me guess the girl has joined the force and you fear that she might start looking in to my special little operation and quite possibly ruin everything?", the Lawyer asks with him shaking his head slightly at the detective. "Exactly", Mason replies with him grinning softly for a moment. "Trust me I knew her old man, he was brilliant yet he was to focused on making sure that justice was served and unwilling to look away when needed. Trust me it was that which ensured he got killed as he received plenty for warnings" he continues with him pausing for a moment. "Anyway the girl looks like her old man alot and you are right I fear she might stick her nose into the case eventually and I can't always stop her. I will keep my end of the bargain and keep everyone away from your operation as much as possible but she might start looking into anyways. If I know I will warn you but the girl is inexperienced and she doesn't always tell me everything so be advised about that", the detective continues with James not really sure why he is telling him all of this.

"And I should know this because......?", the lawyer asks a little bit unsure with Mason grinning softly. "Because you're going to give her a prize tonight. I made sure that the person who was going to give it isn't going to show up so asked the chief that you do it instead", he replies with James rubbing the back of his head a little. "And you want me to do this so I know what she looks like so when she shows up without you warning me you want me to deal with her as she could jeopardize everything?", he asks with the detective nodding. "Exactly....", he replies with him suddenly stopping as he spots a figure trying to get out onto the balcony. "So anyways, your firm is quite busy with all these cases", Mason says swiftly changing subjects with Thackery following without any problem.

"Business is good; I'm even talking to several other well-known lawyers from the competition to see if they want to work for me. With a bit of luck I can actually go back and manage the firm itself while my lawyers are dealing with the cases. Not that I don't love doing it but I'm not paying myself to do all the cases", he chuckles with both men looking at the male entering the balcony to have a smoke just as Mason finishes his. "Good to hear Mister Thackery, it's a pleasure talking to you and I am looking forward to work with you on the project", the detective says while shaking James's hand to give him a small card with a sim-card in it, one that's not traceable by the cops. With that the detective walks inside with James following just moments later.

Once inside he does feel a pair of eyes being back and looking at him but the lawyer walks around casually taking a glass of champagne from one of the waiters having chats with several people that it until the ceremony is announced. Whoever might be keeping an eye on him won’t notice anything weird with the lawyer heading towards the backstage area of the podium with him talking to Chief Robinson while the master of ceremony is explaining to James how things are going to work. It’s not that hard really with James standing on stage together with the other prize-providers with him going to give the prize for best rookie to Detective Jackie Sharp. Once her name is called he will receive the prize from one of the ladies walking back and forth with the prizes and he is going to give it to Jackie before allowing the local press to take several pictures before he’d walk away allowing miss Sharp to have her picture taken alone. It’s not that exciting but it would give James all the time he needs to get a good close look at Jackie as perhaps one day they might come face to face in a different situation.

Jackie kept a watchful eye on the balcony door as she continued to drink from her glass. She didn't dare to go out, mainly because she really didn't want to encounter detective Mason. While they worked well together, they often ended up arguing about how to work. Jackie was annoyed that he sometimes did lazy mistakes a senior detective shouldn't be doing, while he thought she was too reckless. Therefore, at the last minute, she decided not to go out. But it didn't take long until both men went inside again. She narrowed her eyes when she spotted the man Mason had walked out with. She knew she had seen him once before, but she couldn't recall where or in what situation.

"Jackie, why are you standing here all alone?" A familiar voice asked her and Jackie had to look away from her target for a few seconds. Standing in front of her, a very short, older woman was standing in front of her. Lillie Knight, one of the receptionists at the office, was one of the more cheerful people working there. If Jackie remembers it correctly, the dark haired receptionist is in her early 40's, have three kids and is happily married to her high school sweetheart. "Huh?" She didn't know how to respond to her, especially since she felt she really couldn't tell her that she was watching a hot, suspicious looking man.

"I..." Before she answered Mrs. Knight's question, she glanced back to where she had last spotted the fine-looking man, but he was nowhere to be found. "I'm doing nothing here. I felt I needed a break being social." She said awkwardly and tried to laugh it off. While she was talented in her field, Jackie couldn't be described as a social butterfly. She was more of an introvert, who rather would have been home tonight if it wasn't because she had been nominated in a category. Together with Lillie and a group of her other co-workers, they hang out before the ceremony would start. When the clock was reaching 11 pm, everyone ended up sitting down in their seats on the stage and the gala could start. They went through the categories quickly, with the presenters of the prizes occasionally making jokes to make the ceremony more enjoyable. After 30 minutes, the category Jackie was nominated for would be presented and the young detective suddenly felt very, very nervous.

What if I will not win this? She thought to herself. What if the Chief only teased me? She took a deep breath and then exhaled. Calm down, Jackie! It's not like the world will ends if you don't win!

Just in that second, the presenter was about to reveal who would win. "And this year Best Rookie goes to... Jaqueline Sharp!" The reveal was met with applause and as she walked up to the stage, she felt how her fair skin turned slightly red, which matched her red dress and hair. But when she walked up to the stage to receive the prize, the man holding the prize looked familiar. At first, she didn't recognize him, but when she was standing next to him, she remembered!

It's him! She thought as he finally gave her the prize and she took it and thanked him for it. While she was smiling, her eyes were examining his face carefully. So this is Mr. James Thackery? While she didn't know why she felt she had to remember him.

For James standing still on a podium is rather familiar terrain with him having given out several prizes thanks to his work for the community and the projects he's started / worked on in order to improve the community as a whole. As he stands on the stage he recalls his mother's words when he was younger even hearing her voice when he thinks about it. "Wave and smile James, wave and smile", he remembers with him being present at several galas as a young man to be present for his father, the former CEO and now semi-active lawyer but mostly advisor for the firm accepting one of the many prizes. At the time it was an unwritten rule that whenever possible the receiver of a prize would take a picture with his entire family even with the children unless they were too young to be present.

For a moment he recalls all the galas and all the time he's spent being very bored at them with him closing his eyes only to open them again. "It's only because Mason told me that I would get a close up look of detective Sharp or else I would've declined the offer", he thinks to himself with him waiting patiently for the ceremony to slowly proceed towards the Best Rookie award with Jackie or Jacqueline Sharp winning it. The lawyer steps forward with him accepting the prize from one of the lady's working behind the scenes with him walking towards the center of the stage while trying to clap as best as he can with just one hand being available. In the distance he can see what looks like a redhead standing up and walking towards the stage before walking on it with him waiting patiently for her to come near him.

Once on the stage he can get a good look at the pretty redhead with him smiling softly as he looks at her with a kind expression while holding one hand out with him holding the prize in the other hand. "Miss Sharp congratulations", he says kindly his voice low and despite sounding as kind as he can there's something dark and sinister in it, something that might not be explained straightaway. Yet as he shakes her hand she can feel how he has a strong grip with him moving in a little bit closer with him moving the prize towards her. "The press would like to take a few pictures", he says kindly, the tone of his voice being calm with him being experienced with events like these as he moves his head to the side to allow the press to take a few pictures before he fully hands the prize to Jackie with him giving her a last smile before stepping back to allow the press to take pictures of just Miss Sharp holding the prize while the crowd is clapping just like they did for every other prize winner.

As the detective is guided off the stage by the staff, the lawyer also exits the stage with him taking a seat on the first row with him following the rest of the ceremony from that position all while wondering what he should do with Jackie. If Mason is right she would try to look into the case once the slavery ring is up and running and to be fair he can't deal with the police trying to look into the case and Mason did promise him that he wouldn't need to worry about the police at least not for the first few months. Part of the lawyer already feels quite annoyed yet he keeps his cool with him looking up the mayor and Chief Robinson to say his goodbye's with him faking an excuse about having several important meetings in the weekend with him needing to discuss the DeWitt case even though he's got it well under control.

Thankfully for him James is quite experienced with staying hidden within the crowds to avoid talking to the wrong people at the wrong times so he in a way sneaks his way through the crowd before making his exit at the entrance with him heading to the parking lot while calling his driver to get the car ready. Not wanting to have anyone see him he gets in at the parking lot itself before picking up the burn phone he has laying in the car with him applying the sim-card he got from detective Mason earlier. As he turns the card around he starts to type the phone number on it with him waiting patiently for the person on the other side of the line to pick up. "Everything is set, get going but keep in touch with Mason; one of his detectives might cause trouble", James says before ending the call with him leaning back in his seat as there's truly no way that he can turn back now, the collection of the soon to be sold of slaves has begun.

Considering he only congratulated her and then took a couple of photos with her, before leaving her side, Jackie knew that they had at least not met before. She smiled for the photographer as they took photos of her with the prize. She would probably end up in a local magazine tomorrow. Great. I'm so looking forward to tomorrow. She thought, considering her grandmother would probably try to reach out to her and tell her how proud she was of her. When they had finished taking the photos for her, Jackie left the stage and returned to her seat. As she left, she noticed that Mr. Thackery was sitting in the front row, something she found peculiar. Perhaps he was working for the police force? Either way, Jackie decided that tomorrow, she would try to find more info about this gentleman.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just like Jackie had predicted, the endless messages and phone calls she received after the gala were ridiculous. Everyone was telling her that she was just like her father, and would probably end up as successful as him. While the unending praise was flattering, Jackie was getting distracted from the case she was working on right now. For a long period of time, countless young women have been reported missing. While it first didn't seem like they were connected, the police soon found a pattern to where they have been reported to have been last seen. Or, that's what the last guy had figured out before he had dropped the case. It appears a lot of people have been involved with this case, but after working for it for a few weeks, they all have ended up not wanting to continue with it and Jackie can see why.

The list of women who are connected to this case is only increasing. Yesterday she had visited one of the victims home to try to find any clues and she and the team had found nothing. The report she is writing concerning yesterday's investigation was frustrating to write and when she returned to the office early the next morning, she found the file still unfinished and the young detective let out a frustrated groan. "Why me?" She whined to herself as she grabbed her cup of coffee and drank up the bitter beverage in one swipe before she continued finishing it up.

After an hour she was done with it and after she saved it, printed it out and put it together with the other files, she decided to take a short break and return to another investigation she has been doing the past 2 weeks since the gala. James Thackery. She wrote in the search bar on the browser and in a nanosecond, countless access to articles and pictures popped up on her screen. While she probably had read the articles about him several times already and inspected the picture of him carefully, she couldn't stop reading about him. He fascinated her, while also being intimated by him. She still could hear his voice loud and clear as they had shared the stage together. She hadn't really thought about it until now, but something sinister is hiding behind his flashy blazer and charming smile.

It seemed though as if he had been busy the past week and the new articles that mention his name are about something called "the DeWitt Case." Jackie has heard plenty about it, but it was first today she realized why she had heard about his name before. "So, he is that lawyer." She said to herself as she went on reading more about this case, before she would start working on her own investigation.

Over the following weeks James grows busier with him mostly being quite busy with the DeWitt while in addition to it he's having several conversations with lawyers who can take over cases from him in time while he can officially focus on being the firm's CEO. However no-one is aware that he's involved with the latest disappearance of many young women with all of them being kidnapped to be trained and sold off as slaves with the people behind it, including James are earning alot of money. Sadly for the time being the lawyer isn't that much present at the facilities as he's too busy with the DeWitt case but he monitor's the progress quite closely with him reviewing the information about the targets before they're kidnapped. As word gets out that more and more ladies are vanishing the police are rather clueless with them only having figured out that all of the ladies have went to one of the many bars within the city; some owned by James but not all of them and besides them being aged between 18 and 28 and with them being single not a distinct pattern can be found. It's almost like the targets are randomly picked and kidnapped or at least vanishing but that's all they can figure out.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When Jackie starts to do her research about James Thackery she does find out quite alot about his career. He was one of the youngest lawyers ever to conduct a defense case with him having built up a very solid record as a lawyer with rating varying between 89 and 93% win rate, which is almost perfect for a lawyer that mostly deals with open and shut cases. Even in the cases that he loses he somehow does manage to get his client off with a heavy penalty reduction. Most reporters that write about him create a picture of a general; someone who's very calculable and who always has a plan even when it appears he doesn't have one. There are several cases where he managed to prove that despite everything was pointing towards his client the police did not look into several unlikely alternatives which when brought up by him in the courtroom don't always appear as unlikely as it would first appear. However some reporters are far more negative as James as a lawyer with one describing him as a gentleman outside of a courtroom but a ruthless killer inside of it, one that has claimed many careers. The reporter’s even writes about a case where the lawyer came face to face with an experienced detective who in the end was reduced to tears when James destroyed not only his theories and claims about the suspect but he even destroyed the detective's career at the same time. Though the reporter does add that if you want to have a good shot to win a unwinnable case James Thackery is the person to go to as he would give you a chance to win or at least go down fighting.

When Jackie starts to look up the DeWitt case she soon discovers some of the details about it. The case surrounds a Robert DeWitt who until 6 months ago was happily married with his wife Elizabeth and having 2 young children. Everything changed when his wife confessed to have an affair with his boss Jason Murphy. One night after the accountant Robert was one of the last to leave the building his boss was found dead in his office the next morning. The time of death matched Robert's time of leaving the office despite that he claims that Jason was alive when he left. With him having motive, opportunity and the means to kill his boss Robert was quickly arrested and charged with the murder of his boss.

The case started just a few days after the gala and its sofar been another case in which James has shown how good he is at his job while he would even be a rather good detective. On the second day the reporters following the case describes a theory that the lawyer is picturing with a third person being inside of the building, having broken in using the side door which is impossible to see from the street and with the camera being broken there anyone could've broken in. He even has the report of a burglar together with a video recorded by the thief who breaks into the building using the side entrance. At first it doesn't look like much but when he has a former detective on the standing deducing that the evidence left behind was the same that was left behind after the police scanned the building when Jason was found dead the evidence match up with it growing quite likely that someone might have broken in that same night.

A few days later James has a even bigger impact with the detective leading the case being on the stand only to be destroyed verbally by James, at first the detective sits there full of confidence but by the time the lawyer is done, there's hardly a man sitting there. James made short work of the police investigation with them having one suspect in mind and everything was focused on getting that suspect behind bars. Important evidence that would lead to another suspect has been ignored or (accidently) destroyed by the detectives while other suspects have barely been checked out. The lawyer even goes at first to point out two other possible suspects, one of them being Robert's co-worker a second accountant who Jason suspecting of fraud but sofar he hasn't found proof of it. Next to that the other suspect if a former security guard and a man with a police record when it comes to burglary. Before he was fired he did the last check on the cameras and he concluded that it worked fine while the detective that James has hired is sure that the camera has been broken for several weeks.

With the case coming to an end it's starting to become more unlikely that Robert will be found guilty as James has not only given the jury plenty of reasons to have Reasonable doubt when it comes to Robert being the killer but the addition of overlooking a possible break-in and not checking out two possible suspects does give reports the feeling that Robert will be found not-guilty and the case being shoved back towards the DA's office and quite possibly back towards the detectives or a new detective team to redo all the research and find Jason's killer. According to the reporters following the case the jury is expected to give their verdict next Monday with James's case ending that day. The more Jackie would read about it, the more she would realize that he's a very dangerous man and that messing with him could risk her career and the good contacts between the police force and his firm. However she has no idea that he's in charge of the slavery ring kidnapping all those ladies and that showing up to a bar would make her a possible target for the lawyer James Thackery who would not stop for anything in order to keep Miss Sharp quiet.

As Jackie went on to read more and more about Thackery and the Dewitt Case, she finally started to understand what kind of man he was. While she admired his determination, she found it hard to praise his work ethic. It seemed he would do anything for his clients, even make sure to damage the reputation and career of prosecutors and detectives. While she had no clue what was going through his mind, she felt that he was someone she should have on her good side if she ever encountered him in court. While she browsed a dozen articles about Thackery, she felt how her cellphone was buzzing and she was forced to return to what she was supposed to do later tonight.

The message she had received came from her best friend Nicole and she had sent her a picture of a very tight, revealing dress and asked if this was something she wanted to borrow. While the dress was what she had described, Jackie felt she would never see herself wearing something like that and wrote Nicole back that she had to found something better.

The plan for tonight was simple. Jackie would investigate one of the bars that two of the victims had been last seen. She had asked Mason if she was allowed to take some of the techs and look for any clues, but he had told her that the other guys had already done it and had found nothing. "It's of no use to do it again." He had said lazily and then dismissed her. However, none of the previous detectives had done any investigations at these bars. Jackie found this fact interesting. Not because this information was giving her any clues of who was behind this, but rather why everyone acted as if this case was cursed. In the end, Jackie felt she had to be creative and do things her own way.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later that day, the redhead entered one of the bars downtown, dressed in a very tight, black leather dress. "This will suit you perfectly!" Nicole had told her as Jackie tried to decide what outfit she would wear. She hadn't agreed, but since Nicole had nagged and nagged, Jackie finally decided to wear it. When she entered the chic bar, she felt that the atmosphere was very chill and she predicted the place wouldn't be crowded tonight. Trying her best to look confident, she slid down at a seat at the bar and ordered a drink from the bartender.

"I'm waiting for a date." She told him with a gentle smile as she finally received the drink from him. However, she wasn't waiting for a date. She was here to work, but if the owner of the bar was behind the kidnapping, she couldn't reveal her real identity. So, she looked over the other guests and tried to see if she could spot anything suspicious looking. Right now, she couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but she knew it was here she would find any meaningful clues for her case.

But what Jackie didn't suspect was that someone was watching her. Or rather, several people were watching her every move.

With the DeWitt case as good as ended James is finally able to start focusing on his secret project the slavery ring with him being at a rather critical point with the first auction and sale coming up this weekend with many clients already waiting eagerly to see what is on sale. Sofar Mason is doing his job pretty well with making sure the detective aren't really getting any progress on the case with them running into dead ends with each of the captives. Despite that almost 20 young ladies have been kidnapped in the last 2 weeks no-one still has a clue what has happened to any of them with the media only now slowly starting to pick up their cases without anyone realizing that all the ladies have been kidnapped by the same group.

Right now the lawyer is already busy enough with arranging everything for the auction from a safe location to the guest passes to the slaves being slowly taken to that remote and safe location. Thankfully security and cells are already arranged for and the fake passports for the slaves should be arriving late this night. All seems to be going really well as James leans back into his chair from his own office before his phone goes off.

"Who could that be", he mumbles to himself as he sees a text from a burn-phone having arrived with a single text just saying: The legend might be looking into things. For a moment the lawyer raises his eyebrow with him pulling a paper document out of his drawer with him checking for the codename the Legend with him soon seeing a much familiar name next to it. "Jaqueline Sharp, we will meet again", he says with him smirking widely only to open the special browser that his IT-guy had installed. Using that browser he sents a text to all bouncer's and bartenders working with James with him sending them a rather clear message together with a picture of Jackie. "If anyone spots this redhead tonight let me know, we might have trouble incoming. Nobody makes a move against any redhead unless I give you a direct command to do so", the message reads with the lawyer shaking his head before getting up from his seat before walking out of his office. The man stops right next to his secretary's desk only to smile softly at her. "Emma I will be out for the rest of the day and I don't want to be disturbed, so ask them to call back Monday or if it's really important text me okay?", he asks kindly with the secretary nodding. "Yes Sir, have a great weekend", she says before the lawyer nods and walks away.

    ------------------

Later that night James receives a text from one of the bars with them having a spot a similar redhead wearing a leather dress. This soon is confirmed by one of the staff working at the same bar who confirms the claim while adding that they're sure it's the girl he warned them about. The man reaches for his phone to call the bar up using his burn phone to tell the bartender to try and see if he can try and see of je can discover more about the redhead. The bartender serves Jackie her drink before smiling at her kindly before leaning forward against the bar. "I hope you'll have a great date, what does he look like so I can let you know if he's dressed properly", he says kindly while the place looks quite nice yet the detective has no idea that one of the bouncers is keeping an eye on her while the guards looking at the camera feed is also keeping one camera aimed at the redhead.

The lawyer who at the moment is at home soon receives a screenshot from the camera feed with him being quite sure that the girl is actually Jackie so he replies to the guard to keep watching her right now but to not make any move. After putting on a new suit the lawyer leaves his home but instead of heading to the bar the detective is at he instead drives towards the location where the slaves are being kept with him starting to prepare a cell for the girl with the guards and bartender keeping their boss up to date.

As 30 minutes pass the bartender turns to Jackie again while smiling softly. "He's pretty late isn't he, do you want another drink?", he asks kindly knowing that if he gets an opportunity he needs to spike the girl's drink and everything will work out well but for now he just observes her trying to discover as much as possible knowing all too well that if things goes wrong tonight he'll be the one needing to have a chat with Mister Thackery and chats like that won’t end well for him.

She wasn't suspecting that they were watching her. She was far more busy observing the other guests and trying to figure out what kind of bar this was. From the outside, it looked like any other bar and as the hours passed, Jackie started to realize that nothing of importance would probably happen. However, as she finished her drink, the bartender was soon on her again, this time pointing out that her date was quite late. She had already forgotten about the lie she had made up and at first, she looked as if she had no clue what he was talking about, but then it hit her.

"Oh... yeah, he is quite late." She repeated and started to fumble with her phone, looking as if she was trying to reach him or see if he has left a message. "Ah! It appears he has gone to another bar." She sighed and then couldn't help but laugh at herself. This idea wasn't just silly, it was even idiotic. Maybe Mason was right and there really was no need to investigate the bars? "I would love another drink before I will head to the right bar." She said with a gentle smile and didn't keep much attention to what kind of drink the bartender was preparing for her. When she finally received her drink, it didn't look suspicious, even though the bartender had made sure it was spiked and would probably kick in in only a couple of minutes.

"Thank you," Jackie said to him and then, she took a sip of the drink. The drink was very, very sweet. It almost tasted like candy and therefore easy to drink up. When she was finally done and put the glass on the counter, she picked up her handbag and stood up. She didn't say bye to the bartender, because he was helping another customer, but everyone else was keeping a watchful eye on her. As she went towards the exit, Jackie suddenly felt very, very dizzy. She found it even hard to keep her balance and she then stumbled on her high heels, almost falling onto the floor if it wasn't because a strong hand took a hold of her arm and pushed her up.

"M'am, are you alright?" A deep voice asked, but Jackie couldn't respond. Her tongue felt heavy, almost feeling swollen, even though it wasn't. She tried to turn around to see who had helped her, but instead, everything turned black and the last thing she saw was the stern look of the large, muscular bouncer that was trying to keep her standing on her feet.

The bartender is quite relieved to hear that Jackie's "date" is at another bar with him deciding to spike her drink now with him figuring she would want to leave this place soon and with her actually being a detective the odds are pretty high that she won't visit another bar tonight. Thankfully the redhead doesn't seem to be paying attention so he mixes up a drink on the house with him making it perhaps too sweet but it does hide the test of the pill he gently adds to the drink before he shakes the entire mixture really well. "Here you go, this one is on the house", he says kindly with a waiter nodding softly behind the detective before walking towards the bouncer stopping right next to him with a glass of water. "The redhead in the leather dress", he whispers with the bouncer taking the glass and taking a sip from it before putting it on the small table next to him. "Inform the boss, I will take care of her", he replies with the waiter nodding before making his way into the office.

Even before Jackie takes a sip of the drink James is already called up and informed that they're making their move despite that their boss hasn't given them the command yet. "Do it", he confirms sounding a little bit annoyed. "Tell the bouncer to check the girl's phone, we need to know with who she's been in contact with as I don't want her to be reported missing before Monday", he adds with him shaking his head slightly but at least this problem will be dealt with.

As soon as the redhead reaches the alerted bouncer and with the drugs kicking in he gently grabs her arm holding her up while pretending he's helping her. "Come let's get you into the office so we can have someone look at you", the bouncer adds kindly with him moving Jackie into the office quite near them but as soon as they're in she has passed out. The bouncer grins as he gently lays the girl down on the empty desk with him pulling her hands behind her back to secure her wrists with handcuffs, her ankles and knees are secured together with zip-ties and after her mouth is stuffed with a cloth several strips of tape have been pushes over her lips to prevent her from calling out for help. Lastly a last piece of tape is gently placed over the girl's eyes to prevent her from seeing her captors in case she would escape.

Once secured her captor for the moment grabs and checks her phone as much as possible discovering her friend Nicole within the contacts. Once her number is written down the phone is turned off and put back in her purse while the bouncer waits for the van to arrive at the parking lot before he wraps the detective into a large rug to prevent that anyone can see that there's actually a girl tied up and gagged inside of it. Together with a second bouncer they take the rug outside and place it in the van before signing the papers with the van driving off towards the special warehouse.

About an hour pass with Jackie already secured to a metal chair inside of her cell. The zip ties have been replaced by ropes wrapped around her ankles and knees with the handcuffs being still around her wrists yet a rope is tied from the cuffs to the chair to prevent her from standing up. Outside of her cell James is taking a sip of his beer, waiting patiently for his captive to wake up with him looking at the clock. "Your friend should be getting a visit any moment now, no-one will report you missing until Mason makes the call late Monday morning", the lawyer mumbles with him grinning widely as it seems that the now redhead captive is slowly starting to stir within her seat.

    Where am I?

The redhead started to swift and slightly squirm as she slowly woke up from whatever they had drugged her with. As soon as she opened her eyes, she quickly closed them and groaned. She felt both ill and dizzy and everything was black and spinning in front of her. I think I became drunk last night. She muttered and tried to make a swift motion, hoping to get out from her bed, but instead, she felt that she was stuck. What the... She muttered to herself as she forced herself to open her eyes and quickly noticed that she was blindfolded, her mouth was stuffed with something nasty tasting and she was unable to move her arms and legs.

She felt how panic went through her body and while her moment was very limited, she was trying her best to get out of this. As she shifted in the seat, she started to wonder what really had happened last night. She tried to remember what had happened after she had tried to leave the bar. The only thing she could remember was how she suddenly had felt terrible and she had a vague memory of someone trying to help. But it seemed the person who had done it had something else in mind and as she continued to squirm, she remembered why she even had visited that bar.

    Oh shit...

It seemed Jacke had stumbled into a trap, without her even realizing it.

James smiles softly as he watches Jackie at first moves slowly with her probably waking up from the drug while it doesn't take too long before she panics with her squirming on the chair and giving out a few moans into the gag. The lawyer grins widely as he puts the beer down with him walking towards the cell door opening it and stepping inside. He doesn't speak but instead he puts a device in front of his mouth to alter the tone of his voice to prevent the detective from realizing who captured her as he doesn't want to risk it and let her find out that it's the lawyer James Thackery who is her captor.

He remains quiet for the time being with all she's able to hear is him walking closer towards her, walking behind her only to stop and have a pair of strong hands place down on her shoulders. "Well detective Sharp I didn't think that I would ever have you as my guest", the captor says with a smirk his voice altered with him tilting his head to the side. For a moment he wants to make a comment about how she should've listened to Mason but at the same time he realizes it might make aware that he might be involved so he swallows that comment with him instead leaning his head forward pressing it against the girl's cheek. "And you even wear a sexy dress for me, how lovely is that. I can't picture you owning it so let me guess does it belong to your friend Nicole?", he asks pausing for a moment as he pulls his head back and laughs loudly.

"I do hope she's smarter then you are or else she'll join you as any moment now she'll get a visit from a pair of men to warn her about not talking about you. It's in her own interest if she remains quiet though we're not going to feed her curiosity", the man continues as he walks in front of Jackie with his hand grabbing her chin and forcing her head up a little bit. "Now let's move on to business. As things are standing right now I am going to sell you off like the other girls, but before I can sell you I will need to train you. But let me make this clear there is no escape and even if you think you're in the clear we know all about you and you're not the only person we can grab with your pretty friend Nicole just being one of the targets we will go for if you escape", James says warning the detective before he suddenly rips the tape of her lips before pulling out the cloth that's inside of her mouth.

"Think before you speak unless you want something nastier inside your mouth", the man warns her again before grinning softly. "Do you want some water?", he asks kindly though with his voice being altered the kindness within his tone is unhearable. Yet before Jackie can react or say anything she can hear him walking away probably to grab a bottle of water for her to drink as her days of captivity have truly started.

All of the sudden, Jackie could hear a door open and someone entered the room. The atmosphere suddenly changed and since she couldn't see who the person was, she instead had to listen. She could tell that he was approaching her and as the steps grew louder, she understood that he was only a few centimeters from her. Then, she felt two strong hands land on her shoulders. It startled her and when she heard his odd voice, she felt really, really afraid.

Why does he know my name? She thought as he expressed that he hadn't expected her, yet he complimented the dress she was wearing. She wasn't flattered by his word. Instead, she was furious. If it wasn't because she was gagged, she probably would do anything in her might to tell him that this was unacceptable and if he ever would dare to release her from this chair...

    Nicole!

Why did he know about her? She let out more, frustrated moans as she heard him mockingly laugh at her. If he would even dare to touch his filthy hands on her... Jackie thought to herself but was interrupted when he suddenly grabbed her chin and kept her firmly in his hand. Carefully there, Mr-Know-It-All. I would bite you if it wasn't because of this... She felt more and angrier as he continued to tell him about his plan. And while she was afraid of what would happen to her, this unknown man was quite stupid. Not only did he reveal what he was going to do to her, but he also confessed that he was behind these kidnappings. If I will escape I will make sure to get you into prison and...

Once again, he mentioned Nicole's name and revealed that if she dared to break out from this mess, her friend would take her place instead. Damn it! She thought before he suddenly removed the dirty cloth from her mouth and she felt how something rough and sticky was pulled also. She cursed under her breath as she gasped for air. She first didn't dare to say anything to him, mainly because she was still blindfolded and pretty stuck. But when he asked if she wanted water, she couldn't keep her mouth shut and chewed on her bottom lip before she no longer could contain herself.

"I don't want to drink your filthy water!" She spat out angrily. She was indeed not in a mood for teasing, especially not by her own kidnapper.

James knows all to well that Jackie won't escape and even if she would escape, she's never seen his voice only heard his altered voice so surely it would be looking for a needle in a haystack in order to find her captor, at least as long as she doesn't see his face. That reminds the lawyer that he'll need to tell the guards to always keep this one blindfolded as she could jeopardize it all but at least they're now able to keep their eyes on detective Sharp as she won't look into the case while she's here.

Hearing his captive's words the man shakes his head slightly while not grabbing the bottle of water. "What did I just told you?", he asks pausing for a moment with him taking several fast paced steps before he's right in front of Jackie again with him grabbing her chin for a second time. "I told you to watch your tone but clearly someone much rather wants a pair of worn panties stuffed in her mouth and show on that for the rest of the night. Consider this your first and final warning Miss Sharp", he says with a strict tone of voice with the voice altering device making his voice sound even lower compared to normal before the man releases her chin again.

"Well as you don't want a drink I think it's time to move on to the next phase of your stay here. I am going to ask you a series of questions and I only want you to reply with a yes or a no. Failure to react to any of the questions will lead to that pretty dress being cut of your body followed by what you're wearing underneath it", the lawyer continues with him stopping for a moment as both of them can hear a series of muffled screams and men yelling in the hallway. "Get in here", one of the men yells as the door opens for a moment and a bound and gagged blonde is pushed into the cell where Jackie being held. "Oh shit boss, I didn't see you there, I'll take this girl out", the guard quickly apologizes with him grabbing the blonde by the arm again with him moving her into the next cell. All the poor girl can do is scream into her gag but only the muffled unintelligible moans can be heard coming from her.

"It's hard to hire good help", he comments with a shake of the head as the detective can probably hear how her captor is grabbing a notepad together with a pen. "Now as I already know everything about you we can just skip the first part", James says as he browses through the papers only to gently tab the pen against the paper. "Right now let's see if you're going to cooperate or not", he adds with him looking at his captive with a serious look on his face, not that she can see it but it doesn't matter. "Have you ever had sex? Have you ever given a blowjob?", he asks firing off the first two questions on the list.

To Jackie it might not make much sense why he's asking it but if the lawyer is going to sell her off he'll need to know as much as possible. Inexperienced and especially virgin slaves are worth alot more money compared to the more sexual experienced and no longer virgin slaves. If the detective if a virgin not only would it make the job of selling her perhaps easier but at the same time it would make the slavery ring more money. Now that he's asked the first two questions James tils his head to the side curious to see how his captive would react with him already deciding that if she doesn't cooperate not only will he cut of her pretty dress and her underwear but her own panties will fill her mouth as punishment.

She could tell that he wasn't pleased with what she just had said. She kept herself silent and when he took a hold of her chin again, she tried her best to resist not saying or doing anything stupid. The urge of digging her teeth into his hand was tempting, but instead, she nodded her head to his warning. She didn't want to be gagged again, or at least not with a pair of old, smelly panties. Freaking asshole. She thought to herself as he started to explain what he would do next to her. She found it peculiar why he wanted to ask her a bunch of questions. Yet, this could be a clue as to why he had kidnapped so many women!

But they were suddenly interrupted. What she assumed was outside the room they were in, she could hear loud and alarming voices. It sounded as if there were a bunch of men yelling at a group of women and all of the sudden, a nearby door opened and a man yelled that someone was supposed to get inside. Jackie couldn't see what was happening, but by the sound of it, the man had picked the wrong room and the poor person he had brought with him sounded very scared. They soon left them and it seemed the man the other man had called "boss" wasn't pleased that he just got disturbed. But he quickly didn't let her get time to ask what just happened, and instead moved on to question her.

Why does he know who I am? Jackie thought after he mentioned that he didn't need to ask her the first part of the list of questions. She had no clue who this man could be and why he had caught her, but the two questions he then asked her made her face turn bright red. What kind of questions are these?! She suddenly felt very upset and embarrassed by what he was demanding her to answer and while she wanted to tell him to fuck off, Jackie knew she couldn't refuse. Because the last thing she wanted was to get undressed in front someone she didn't even see or knew who it was. She felt very intimidated by him and the nature of his questions since she really had no clue what he was planning to do with her.

Jackie let out a deep sigh. This is the point of no return? She reflected before she finally answered him.

    "No... and no."

Her cheeks turned even a deeper red when she finally answered him. She felt ashamed that she, a mid-20-year old something, had never experienced sex before. I wonder if he will be happy with my answer or not? She thought as she waited for him to ask her more questions.

For a moment James wonders what Jackie would do with him keeping all options right now, from her spitting at him or cursing at him to cooperating at least for the time being, the captor knows almost everything is possible. It wouldn't even surprise him but as she replies with a no on both questions he figures that she might be telling the truth. However it could be a lie, one that means that he'll keep her away from her sexually keeping her sexual inexperienced as that would make the most money and increase the odds of selling her. At the same time it would mean that she wouldn't need to worry about being forced to suck anyone off or forced to have sex with one of her captors; not that anyone would have a chance as James will keeps his eyes on the poor detective.

"Interesting", he says with him marking the two no's on the list before looking up at her again. "Have you ever had an orgasm? Have you ever masturbated? Have you used vibrators or dildo's to masturbate and if so which of the two?", he asks strictly with him knowing that he can force his captive to orgasm using vibrators as he'll need to determine if she's easily aroused and if she enjoys being played with. This is again something that can heavily increase her price and the odds of selling as most men interested in a slave are looking for total yet inexperienced sluts, preferably still even virgins. If his current would be one surely they can make several millions of dollars when they sell her as several bidders might be fighting for her at auction.

It's only when the man looks up at his captive again that he notices that her cheeks are flushed red with her probably being embarrassed by it which is something he can mess with. It would help her a little bit if she's experienced when it comes to masturbation or at least having used toys on herself to get off with prices not really being altered alot on this subject. Yet for him it's quite good to know as after the list has been filled James will need to come up with a plan when it comes to training her and the more he knows about Jackie sexually the easier he can decide on what he should do to punish or reward her. Though despite sex and a blowjob won't be an option fondling and playing her will surely be one as he'll need to test her reaction anyway.

Grinning widely the lawyer walks closer towards Jackie with him even sitting on her lap while he rests his back a little bit against her body. "Well Miss Sharp you better answer these questions", he says with a warning with him clearly liking how he's seated. The hand that holds the pen gently moves past her cheek rubbing it softly as he turns himself to the side allowing his face to come almost directly in front of hers. His eyes moves down for a moment with him looking into the girl's cleavage while he realizes that he'll need to ask for her breasts size and he will need to get her to stand up so he can look at the female curves on her body while he'll need to take several pictures of her in her current state with this dress actually being the perfect dress for her online profile the captor is sure it will attract alot of attention. Nodding a little bit the lawyer agrees with himself to first wait for her reply on these questions before he moves on to her chest size and inspecting her curves and taking the pictures before Jackie defies him again as he won't hesitate to strip her naked.

She couldn't read his facial expression. Obviously. She found it hard to communicate with him in this state and while she wanted to demand him to remove the blindfold from her eyes, she remained composed. She could be quite patient when it was demanded and since she was sitting in a tight situation, she couldn't jeopardize her own safety because she wanted to hurt whoever this man was. He then moved on to ask her more question regarding sex. Her face remained flushed and just like the last two questions, she seemed hesitant to answer him again.

Why does he need this information? He still hadn't revealed why he was asking her these very personal and intimate questions. While he had explained to her that his business sold women, she couldn't figure out for what for? He must be insane. Or at least very, very perverted! As she considered if she should continue to obey or refuse, the man suddenly took the liberty and sat down in her lap. When he leaned his back against her, his neck nudged the tip of her nose and she accidentally dragged in his smell. His strong scent caught her off guard and all of the sudden, she seemed far more relaxed than before. It was almost as if his closeness was making her feel safe, an idea she quickly refused to believe and she was reminded where she was when his hand touched her face again and since she could feel his breathing against her skin, she assumed his face was only a few centimeters away from her.

"Yes, yes and no." She finally responded to his three questions as she tried to tilt her head away from him since she found him sitting in her lap very, very uncomfortable. Or did she? She had started to slightly squirm in the chair, her leather dress was suddenly feeling very, very warm as it cupped her curviness perfectly. "Can you please untie me?" She finally asked him. "Or at least remove my blindfold?" By the tone of her voice, it was clear that she was furious and if it wasn't because he had told her what he would do to her if she didn't cooperate, she probably would have made sure to tell him what really was on her mind.

James waits patiently for Jackie to reply with him writing down her reply as it's good to know that she's masturbated and had an orgasm before while he can surely make her orgasm with vibrators at least. At the same time it does add more worth to her as a potential slave so that’s even more good news! The man grins widely as he already decides that he'll toy with the detective later or perhaps tomorrow. As it seems that she's losing her patience with him shaking his head while he gently grabs hold of her chin. "No I won't untie you nor will I remove your blindfold. I know you're a detective and by now you know that I am in charge here. So it would be pretty stupid if I am to remove your blindfold not to mention that you might attack me if I untie you", the lawyer says strictly with him standing up first only to untie the ropes that secure the cuffs to the chair before pulling his captive up onto her feet.

"But we're done with the questions for now; now it's time to move on to take a couple of pictures of you. Here's the deal do what I tell you and I won't gag or strip you. Don't cooperate and I'll take naked pictures of you instead with a nice bright red ball gag filling that pretty mouth of yours", her captor warns with him releasing her arm to allow the girl to stand on her feet. "In case you didn't get the message Jackie I am going to sell you off as a sex-slave to the highest bidder. You are virgin so that is going to help me and you're a pretty redhead and the buyers want their pretty redheads so I'm not too worried that I won't be able to sell you off. Besides you look hot in this dress so this is the ideal dress for me to use when it comes to your photoshoot", James explains as he walks towards the door before peeking his head out of it. "Camera", he yells to one of the guards with him receiving one just a few seconds later before he walks back to his previous position.

"So Miss Sharp stand still like that and do what I tell you and we should be done soon. If you're a good little girl I might ask one of the guards to remove your blindfold for the night when I have left the room", the lawyer says with a smirk as he makes a mental note to get himself a ski mask for when he's going to pay the detective a visit. He couldn't care less if any of the other girls would see him but with Jackie he isn't going to risk it as the buyers might withdraw if they find out she's a cop; no virgin redhead that is going to change their minds and he knows it all too well. "Anything I should add with the advert I am going to post of you. I know the men will like the pictures but any quote or fantasy I should mention?", the lawyer asks with a smirk doing his best to taunt and annoy his captive. She might not realize it but part of him really wants to use that ball gag to shut her pretty mouth up but at the same time he does realize that when he's done with the pictures he might just end up partly stripping her just to reward himself for this excellent catch.

Jackie grinded her teeth when he expressed that the last thing he would do was to follow her demand. But just like she had suspected, he explained to her that he was in charge and...

What did he just say he would do to me?! She couldn't believe it. Yet she knew it was true. This man wasn't used interested about her sexual experience because of his personal gain. This was just an elaborate plan to not only make sure she didn't continue her investigation, but also to get rid of her.

"I should have known." She whispered out loud and when she felt that he finally untied her from the cold chair and forced her up on her feet, she almost stumbled because the drug hadn't really worn off and her balance felt yanky.

While Jackie tried to keep herself standing, her kidnapper was shouting for a camera and it didn't take long until she heard someone giving him the item he had requested for. He had mentioned he wanted to take some pictures of her and when he reminded her about it, he also expressed that if she would do what he told her to do, she may get the blindfold removed. If not, then he would cut up her clothes and take pictures of her naked.

The last thing Jackie wanted was to give him the pleasure to see her nude, so she kept herself quiet and finally accepted her fate. When she heard the shutter from the camera, she also heard his mocking voice. She tried her best to keep her mouth shut, but yet she didn't want to give him the pleasure to feel he had any power of her.

"My biggest fantasy is..." She decided to play along with his teasing, hoping it would annoy him as much as he was annoying her. "Biting men's dick off." It was obvious that she wasn't serious, but she at least hoped what she just had said would caught him off guard.
